Best wireless headset on the market
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an amazing headset. It comfortable when wearing, even hours into a game. The sound quality is the best of any headset ive owned, it beats astro A50, the Astro A40 trs, and the corsair virtuoso's by a landfall. I like the hot swap batteries, as i never have to use a wire. The set up was easy and smooth. Steel series has won me over

Best headset ever!
|Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im normally a wired headset person because i hate down time of wireless headsets, but these arctis nova pros are awesome hot swappable batteries with 2 days of battery life and only takes 30 minutes for a full charge is the making of a dream headset for me no more wire no more down time. Plus, to top it off, amazing audio quality!

Worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the most expensive gaming headset I have ever purchased. However, it’s worth every cent. The issue with cheaper headsets is that, while the microphone quality is usually good, the quality of the sound is very basic, which decreases the level of immersion into the game. This headset, while not quite on par with AirPod pro max in terms of sound quality, has a very good sound quality for a gaming headset. There is some oomph to the bass. This headset wirelessly connects to a usb to computer base station. This base station allows the user to charge one of the headset batteries (the package comes with two) while you are using the other. This base station also allows you to connect to two separate systems (like a PC and a PS5) where you switch the input with a couple button presses on the base station. This is convenient in that you don’t have to change your cable hook ups when you want to play on one versus the other. The biggest convenience, which is not unique to this specific headset is that, while you can use it with Bluetooth, connecting to the base station is done over 2.4 GHz band. This gives much more bandwidth than Bluetooth. When using a Bluetooth headset in a Discord voice channel, and playing a game, the quality of the game sound is very degraded because of the low bandwidth. That problem doesn’t occur with 2.4 ghz. Finally, this headset can often be found on sale, so keep an eye out.

Solid performer, minor complaints.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lots of things to love about this headset; lighter than previous Arctis series, less squeaks and creaks, good sound and mic. Ergonomics are also decent. A few things hold it back from a 5 star rating for me. Firstly, the software is tough to get the hang of if you’re not well versed in sound config. This headset needs adjustments for most people, so if you’re looking for an “out of the box” solution, perhaps think twice on the artctis nova series headsets. That being said though, if you’re willing to put some tinkering time in, it should be well worth the effort and customization. Secondly, the dac will eventually burn the screen in. There is currently (as of 03/24), no way to turn the screen on the DAC off, so it will eventually burn in over time. This is definitely a bummer, considering that this functionality existed with the previous generation artcis pro wireless headsets. Those things aside, this headset is great, and still wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

Good quality headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super happy with the headset, the headset is somewhat light to weat and it does not pressure your head (not sure if it would be different for someone who wear glasses), the battery last a long while and its easy to switch the batteries when needed. iI installed SteelSeries Sonar and adjusted my microphone with one of the presets that include deep voice, but that was the only thing that had to be changed from default.

Great for Multipoint Connect from Teams to Mobile
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been looking for over ear headsets with noise cancellation and paired bluetooth adapter that work with Microsoft Teams. You’d think I was looking for the holy grail with the difficulty I gad researching this purchase. I found this when looking into gaming headsets as many come with external bluetooth adapters, and my work computer does not support bluetooth functionality. Setup out of the box is super simple: I connected the receiver to my computer via the provided cable, and my headset is recognized immediately. The mic being retractable and on the left side of my face will take some adjustment. That said, I experienecd no issues with audio output or input during calls in Microsoft Teams. While retracting the mic does sync with Teams calls to mute by default, I was surprised to see that pressing the mute button on my headset does mute input on calls, similar to how flipping my Jabra headset mic up would do so. The over ear cups are much more comfortable than on ear headsets that applied a lot of pressure to my head. That said, I will be purchasing some after market ear pads as these are not quite as comfortable as I hoped. Lastly, this is the first headset I had that does not exclude sounds between my pc and my mobile device when paired to both simultaneously. If you are looking for a wireless headset that works for work and personal time, I highly recommend this headset.

Astro A50 to Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using the Astro A50 for years and have been fairly happy with them, this time I decided to try something new. For anyone else in a similar situation or comparison shopping between brands. I've found that the Astro A50's are simpler to work with, you plug them in and you're done; you don't have to install the Command Center to even really use the headset and they work well out of the box. Moving onto the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, these things are fairly beastly in design with the largest benefit bringing me over to these are the replaceable battery and charging dock. With no longer having to worry myself with actually charging the headphones on a cable. Some things that make this product more challenging to work with is; in order to consume a majority of the devices functionality you must install the software; there is a huge dependency on the software installation and configuration. This dependency on the software turns into the software creating bunch of virtual input & output devices that get translated by the DAC\Transmitter to the headphones. Because of this software dependency, I have had many problems with the device configuration getting all screwed up just by unplugging the USB cable on the DAC and plugging it back in again, all of the virtual devices lose their connectivity forcing me to have to do a hard removal of software and hardware devices to allow the software to re-add and reconfigure the virtual output/input devices again, and the configuration cannot currently be exported or backed up so everything that I customize has to be reconfigured all over again. The features that this offers has me staying with the product for now as I really love the charging base and replaceable battery; otherwise for the simplicity offered by the functionality of the Astro A50's... if they ever come out with a similar charging station and replaceable battery to eliminate an actual connection or plug requirement ... I would be going back to them.

BEST headset maybe ever?
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Actual best buy employee here, ive bought and used A LOT of headsets over the years of working here and this is by far the best; comfort, quality, build, software, aesthetics and everything about it is fantastic and i couldnt recommend anything more. As a content creator as well with a dual PC setup, the station it comes with that allows it to be used with 2 deifferent sources is fantastic and incred convenient.

Best Wireless Headset I’ve had in a While
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to replace my Arctic Nova 7P and it was worth it despite the higher cost. Hands-down the two biggest game-changers for me have been the better “side-tone” and the swappable batteries. On the Arctic Nova 7P the side-tone was non-existent and still felt like you were talking with a headset on. With the Nova Pro initially I was disappointed with the side tone until I turned on transparency in the ANC settings. Although it’s not technically side tone it feels kind of like the air pod pro’s transparency and gets rid of that muffled feeling which is what I wanted. Audio quality is also much better than the 7P’s, but I assume the mic quality is probably around the same since none of my friends noticed when I switched headsets. I’ve also used this headset for game audio while chatting on Discord and the implementation is solid and surprisingly easy to connect. One thing to note about this headset is that it essentially has two power buttons, one for wireless connections (console, PC, etc) and one for Bluetooth. So if for example you were connected to your PS5 and your iPhone at the same time, pressing the main power button doesn’t turn off both connections. You have to hold down the main “power” button as well as the Bluetooth button separately to disconnect both.

New favorite headset/brand
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Corsair Virtuoso XT before these and the Nova pros beat the Virtuosos in literally every aspect. Sound better, feel better, much better software, and presets for tons of games that actually sound good. Definitely recommend If you can afford them.

Software fixes cheap sounding mic
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Amazing headset all around and very sturdy as far as design goes. Was worried about the microphone cause all the mic tests for this headset on youtube spoke negatively about it, but the software has a fix it. In Sonar (software) you can change the way you sound and it fixes that cheapish way you sound on recordings. (Almost like if you were on speaker through a phone call). The 360 surround audio this headset has is amazing for competitive games like warzone! The sound is crisp and clear with PLENTY of bass. I have no complaints at all. Its overall design is so good and highly recommend it for Sim Racing and competitive shooters. The software that comes with this headset is probably the best i have seen yet (and i come from a set of astros a50's). I highly underestimated this headset. Cant recommend it enough.

Best Headset/mic combo on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably the best wireless headset/mic combo on the market. I hope they come out with a different earcup. Thats the only thing I would change. The two batteries are unbeatable, just to be able swap out and always be gaming is unmatched. The Sonar software also lets you change to a different channel and then you can customize your listening experience.
