    Mic too sensitive

Mic sensitivity is horrible. Tried using the built in AI, noise gate, and all settings in Sonar software. Mic pics up keystrokes, talking, tv, even noise from the kitchen across the house. People on reddit are taping one side of the mic holes to stop noise from coming in and having success. You should not have to do this to make a 350.00 mic usable. I have never had this type of issue with Turtlebeach, Tritton, or Asto. While the sound quality is good, and the software has good features, its noise cancelation is a complete joke. It does not work. As someone who uses a recording software for videos it makes the headset useless and a waist of 350.00. This is not acceptable from a mic that cost this much.

this headset is no where near worth $350. the mic is such bad quality, even after tweaking settings and sliders its just a horrible quality mic. if you want a wireless headset get the a50s. sound quality is ok but not worth the price especially with a mic that bad.

    DO NOT BUY

This headset is a scam thanks to Sony. The headset itself is fantastic and I cannot recommend it enough, however this particular headset is the same price as the same headset and literally has less features than the 'designed for xbox' version. The xbox version supports PC, PS, Nintendo and Xbox. This version cuts Xbox out of the picture. Even if you are a Sony fanboy (I have all consoles) it is stupid to purchase this version because you are paying the same price for less functionality. Do yourself a favor and buy the 'designed for xbox version'

    Disappointing at best.

The headset is comfortable to wear for a decent amount of time. I like the look and having the station to control the audio presets. However, I have yet to use it for one full session on either my PS5 or my computer where the sound quality didn't get static and lose quality. I have also had a multitude of problems with the headset essentially freezing while viewing videos/movies. There have also been a lot of issues where removing the battery from the headset was necessary as it began turning off and on, connecting to the station, and disconnecting over and over again. Overall, I am extremely disappointed in this purchase and feel that at the price point these issues should not exist. If you're looking for a good all around headset that's wireless, I suggest you look elsewhere because this is not a quality product.

very uncomfortable, there's pieces inside the ear muff that hits your ears. if you don't have tiny ears, stay away. had these a week and now I'm returning them today. for $300 these should feel perfect. sound is great but not worth it. my old haptic razer nari ultimate was way better but must've quit making those

Sound is just amazing, mixing the party audio with game audio is a little difficult when trying to find the sweet spot but this headset rocks.

Steel Series GG is needed to get the most out of the headphones, however GG also loves to switch my default audio device from IT'S OWN HEADSET to my monitor and I have to go and switch it in GG. It wont switch it in any windows settings.

Theres a hard inner ear plastic piece that helps with noise canceling. It presses against your ears and is unbearable.

Worst pair of headphones I've ever owned.

HEY! DO YOU WANT TO PAY $350 FOR A PAIR OF HEADPHONES THAT WORKS INCONSISTENTLY AT BEST? Then look no further than the Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. With such features as: - Terrible proprietary software to connect your headphones. - Wireless randomly disconnecting until you restart your pc and factory reset the DAC. - USB detection failing until you connected the headphones directly to the PC. - Headphones stopping working until you do a firmware update. - Propriety software that fails to launch the sub-service (Sonar) repeatedly. - Battery cover that is impossible to remove without an 80's coke nail. I love my SteelSeries Apex Pro Keyboard but the Arctis Nova Pros are so unreliable I'd rather use wired gas station earbuds. Keeping these things working is more of a chore than my day job and I'm an IT professional.

I would give zero stars if I could. The mic is inconsistent one minute friends can hear me then then the next sounds like I’m across the room. They are super uncomfortable and crazy distorted audio almost robotic happens frequently. I have no idea how these are the “best” headset for os5

Wish I could be leaving a 5 star but just cant. The mic/mute button failed within the first 3 months steel series has done nothing but give me the run around and make me jump thru hoops just so send it back in to them for warranty! Otherwise the headset is fine about as good as my old astro a50 but astro customer service was top notch!

    $280 Garbage

Clearly I have the worst luck ever. The only thing i can gather is that becauss fhese are so much money, they’ve been sitting out for so long, the batteries were dead on arrival. These headphones had me thinking I was stupid because they wouldn’t even turn on, but when I connected them via USB to the console, they magically turned on. But once you unplug them, they immediately go dead. Yeah I returned them.

    Deafening digital noise. dont’t buy!!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

In the midst of playing PS5 and being connected to my phone, a LOUD static-like noise will blare through the headset forcing me to turn them off because that was the only way to stop it. Oh and this was on the first day I bought them. I read some reviews and it seems like this problem will only happen more often and literally be unusable. It’s a terrible defect and it seems the technology is not up to par for the dual connectivity. Save your money and don’t buy

    ANC is TERRIBLY POOR

Primarily bought these for the ANC feature and the difference between ANC and transparency is barely noticeable. For the price tag this is unacceptable.
