It's good but not the best you can't keep your customized eq profile unless it's connected to the computer you used other than that great sound and NC function. Also the foam mic cover comes off way to easily and can me lost

Yes, these are expensive, but they are definitely worth the cost. The DAC can be connected to a Mac or PC to modify the equalizer settings to your desired settings, plus it comes with many preset settings for many of the top gaming titles. For example, there are settings for Baldur’s Gate 3, FPS, and Footsteps, just to name a few.
With the 2 batteries, you’ll never run out of power either, especially since each one spans multiple hours of gaming. Each one lasts me a few days, because I only use them a few hours each time, so I lose track of how long it’s been in. The DAC also doubles as a battery charger, so you can charge one battery while using the other. The freedom from wires is also extremely comfortable, which makes these worth the cost as well.
The ski band keeps the weight of the headphones off of your head as well, though they’re light as it is. The active noise cancellation is also a wonderful feature as well, so you can game in areas that aren’t quiet and not worry about it. There are also various side tone settings as well, so you know if you’re talking louder than you need to, rather than possibly yelling in other players’ ears. They also allow you to hear your personal surroundings as well if you want. Turn off side tone and you’ll have a hard time hearing your parents or spouse. Turn it on High, and you can hear the game and your parents or spouse at the same time. Personally, I keep my side tone off, so I can hear my game but not what’s going on in the real world, because full immersion is what’s most important to me.
My right side has more bass/rumble than my left :(

Straight to business, they're great. The volume is plenty for average players. Being able to adjust the sound with the built in equalizer is what sold me. I love bass and being able to tune it to my perfection is amazing. They also feel good on my head, there's enough weight and snug to remind me I have them on but not too much where my head is heavy or squeezed. The anc isn't world breaking, it's actually pretty average. But I doubt you'll notice too much of a difference with or without it on. The microphone is also superb. I have the Sony Pulse Elite and the microphone on these compared to those is night in day. My friends instantly noticed in our party chat.
Now the biggest con for me. Am not sure if it's my head shape, ear shape, ears in general, but I notice a very noticeable difference in bass from left and right. The right side has a bit more of that boom and rumble than the left. Not too much, but enough for it to bother me. Especially when I'm listening to music and I feel my right ear enjoying the bass while my left ear is just catching the after bumps. If that makes any sense. I hope it's just a me problem or my particular headset. Spending this much on a headset and having one side sound different than the other is pretty upsetting. Hopefully you do not face that issue, but regardless of that one thing. These are amazing. So many settings, great sound, and fit comfortable enough for lengthy sessions. Would recommend.

After buying these I finally get the hype behind pro gaming headphones. I have a Sonos home theater system which is the best sounding home theater setup I’ve heard short of pro grade installs that cost 5000k or more. And I still use these headphones especially cause I live in an apartment and I want to hear everything in my games. And these make you feel like you are in the game. True every direction sound (which honestly I didn’t think could be this good on headphones). Having an extra battery is a no brainer and you never have to lose emersion. Cause you can hot swap them and the headphone will not need to restart or turn back on. The dac works perfectly and gives you complete control of the eq. Super comfortable I wear them for up to 12hours and forget I have them on. You can use them wired as well and microphone is extremely clear. I mainly play single player games. But let me say the one multiplayer game I do play is call of duty and it sounds phenomenal. His headphones show how much time the call of duty people put into the sounds of their games. Very few games stacked up to the sound they call of duty games have. And playing online you hear literally everything I didn’t realize headphones could help out so much in competitive play.

Best gaming headset I’ve ever had. The 3D audio has made me a more confident player when playing aggressive because of how I am able to pinpoint where the opposing player is. The sound quality is absolutely amazing. The weight of the headset is super light and comfy. One of my favorite features is the ability to exchange the batteries so that you never have to charge the headset while playing. The customizable EQ takes the sound to a whole new level and allows you to prioritize what’s important to you. For me, I play a lot of Warzone and prioritizing footsteps has literally changed my game. Yes, they are expensive but a great investment if you have the means.

Coming from a Razer Kraken V3 I like these better for a few reasons. Sound quality and localization are very similar. I find the mic noise cancellation superior on the Steelseries. Which really helps in a noisy environment. The active noise cancellation in the headphones is far superior on the Steelseries. The sound quality doesn't really degrade with the noise cancellation turned on.
With both the mic noise cancellation, as well as drowning out the outside world when listening to music, movies, and gaming. I find the Steelseries far superior.
Battery life
1 - Unit comes with 2 batteries, but you are not requried to plug in the headset when your battery is dying (this is an option). Instead, the base unit charges your second battery while you are using the headset. It is a very simple change and can be done with nothing more than a short pause. The batteries last a very long time on a charge so swaps are rare.
2 - If you wear glasses as I do, you will find the ear cups don't press against the frames near as bad as other brands. These are the only ones I can use for hours without this becoming uncomfortable.
3 - The retractable mic seems very well built. I have used these daily for about 3 months. Being able to just push it up into the headset when walking around the house listening to music is a blessing. I can tell you how many mics I have lost over the years.
4 - Wireless range is good for a headset. I can get to about 50 feet with multiple walls in between before they start breaking up.
Hope this helps when on the fence between this and the Kraken

1 set Lt Ear was not working so I returned them. For the extra $50 over Astros you get a lot. Bluetooth and ANC are worth it. I base my ANC off of sitting next to a fan that is moderately loud. It works well. Sound is great. I have always used Astro so I am limited. Sound better than my A50s. I get no rubbing that some complain about and it fits my ears solid. They clamp light but do not move.
Battey lasts forever and they you have a spare....These headsets are just an all around banger. 1800 sqft house and I have no dead spots. Beast for gaming but has range to listen to my tunes anywhere in the house. Could not be more pleased. It was close with the first set being DOA. Lets be honest. Quality control is a major issue everywhere right now.
Got banged 3 stars for the quality control.

I’ve purchased many headsets over the years based on in-depth research. These are the most comfortable ones I’ve had! I can play for hours without the headset making my ears or top of my head feel sore. The sound quality is AMAZING. I love the Game DAC because it helps me easily control the volume and customize the EQ to enhance my gaming experience. The convenience of having 2 batteries is essential since I can always have one fully charged. Its easy and quick to change them out after a game so I can continue playing. 10/10 headset and worth the investment.

A great pair of headphones with noise cancelling, dual audio, BT, great sound, two hot swappable batteries, and great range with am amplifier. Everything else pales in comparison and feature set.

i got those headsets when they first came out, and i have tried almost every gaming headset there is, and i will say they are the best investment i have had mic quality, battery life couple days with a swap that it comes with, to the audio quality i cannot be more satisfied they comfortable as well. i i loveeeeee those headsets and would definitely recommend them over and over again. Plus the active noise canceling that i usually have with other headsets i loved in these ones. so out of comfort 10/10. mic quality 8/10. audio and noise canceling 100/10. if you get them you definitely won’t be regretting it!!!!

As my title says, I've purchased several headsets, including the model that precedes this one, the SteelSeries Arctis Pro Wireless (the model with the battery, not to be confused with this model, the Arctis Pro Nova Wireless), as well as the Astro Gaming A50 with base station.
This thing is awesome! The noise cancelling beats every other headset I've ever tried, bar none. I mean, I have a dog that snores and it drives me CRAZY. Even through other headsets - and this is the ONLY one that actually blocked the sound. For that issue alone, it's worth every penny.
But wait, there's more! The microphone disappears completely into the headset which is very slick. SteelSeries have expanded the capabilities of the controlling unit, as you have a lot better control of the sound on each ear, etc.
I've heard from other reviews about certain complaints, that I haven't had. One, that the cups get very sweaty - haven't experienced that, but just in case, I did buy (for like $15) replacements that are cloth. After a month, I've yet to need them. Also, I had heard that the cups can be painful on the ears - they were for me for a few days, but after a bit of break-in, no issues. (To be expected from right off the factory line, etc). I've heard complaints about the software, but I believe SteelSeries has fixed that, as it works fine for me and these have been out for about a year now.
The sound is exceptional (as you'd expect at this price range). The build quality is fantastic. The battery life is longer than the previous version (by far) and they've added a charge port to the headset - so you can charge the battery w/out even removing it!
All in all, I've probably owned a dozen different types of wireless headsets, and except for the fact it doesn't have different channels for "game and chat" (if you don't know what this is, then you're not missing anything), this thing is perfect and an upgrade in every conceivable way over the previous model.
If you don't care as much about the noise cancelling, the extended range and the rechargeable battery, you can get most of the features for several hundred dollars less in the other models (that look identical to this headset) that use USB-C charging or are wired.

I had gotten a pair while they were on sale recently! So i knew i had to pick up a pair! I use them for my PS5! Love how adjustable they are to fit one’s head! The head band and the length of the ear pieces. Very easy to hook up and play! Love that it comes with a popper filter for the mic! Having the headset paired with a DualSense Edge really helps big time! That way you can adjust the game volume and chat volume from the controller! The sounds quality is beautiful! From hearing the crunch of snow as you walk through snowy mountain caps. All the way to how voices echo off of walls. It does a phenomenal job at picking up those little things that really make the experience better! Changing and charging the batteries is a breeze (as long as you have a little bit of nails to pop off the magnetic caps! Plus you can charge the headphones without the transmitter, there is a USB-C input under the right ear piece cap! Love the retractable mic! So convenient! And the sound quality is excellent! The ANC (which its tensity is adjusted via transmitter) is really nice and to be able to also turn it off and hear your surroundings is great! Press power button one and hear a double beep and the ANC is on, Press the power button again and hear a single beep, the ANC is off. I love that they keep things simplified so you can game more and not fidget with your headset! I was very hesitant on purchasing them because of the price, but when they went on sale… i had to take advantage of it! Totally worth it! Even though i had planned on buying them when they were full price! So the sale really sold me! Anyways, i personally would recommend them!

First of let me say when you pay premium price this headset lives up to expectations its packaged like its worth $400 it comes with a carrying case when you put them on and get the right fit they are snug in a comfortable way they feel premium metal and plastic make them feel premium i have the astro a 50 and let me tell you i love them headset to me they are the best..but when i seen this and all the things that came with it like the swappable batteries which in total add up to over 40 the sound to me its good but not as loud as my a50s they are super comfy the only downside is the pleader earcups they get hot and make my ears sweat so if you don’t like that just keep that in consideration..on top to be honest i still prefer my astro a50 over this even with the extra features it has
