Super happy with the headset, the headset is somewhat light to weat and it does not pressure your head (not sure if it would be different for someone who wear glasses), the battery last a long while and its easy to switch the batteries when needed. iI installed SteelSeries Sonar and adjusted my microphone with one of the presets that include deep voice, but that was the only thing that had to be changed from default.

Im normally a wired headset person because i hate down time of wireless headsets, but these arctis nova pros are awesome hot swappable batteries with 2 days of battery life and only takes 30 minutes for a full charge is the making of a dream headset for me no more wire no more down time. Plus, to top it off, amazing audio quality!

I’ve been looking for over ear headsets with noise cancellation and paired bluetooth adapter that work with Microsoft Teams. You’d think I was looking for the holy grail with the difficulty I gad researching this purchase. I found this when looking into gaming headsets as many come with external bluetooth adapters, and my work computer does not support bluetooth functionality. Setup out of the box is super simple: I connected the receiver to my computer via the provided cable, and my headset is recognized immediately. The mic being retractable and on the left side of my face will take some adjustment. That said, I experienecd no issues with audio output or input during calls in Microsoft Teams. While retracting the mic does sync with Teams calls to mute by default, I was surprised to see that pressing the mute button on my headset does mute input on calls, similar to how flipping my Jabra headset mic up would do so. The over ear cups are much more comfortable than on ear headsets that applied a lot of pressure to my head. That said, I will be purchasing some after market ear pads as these are not quite as comfortable as I hoped. Lastly, this is the first headset I had that does not exclude sounds between my pc and my mobile device when paired to both simultaneously. If you are looking for a wireless headset that works for work and personal time, I highly recommend this headset.

Astro A50 to Steel Series Arctis Nova Pro

I've been using the Astro A50 for years and have been fairly happy with them, this time I decided to try something new. For anyone else in a similar situation or comparison shopping between brands. I've found that the Astro A50's are simpler to work with, you plug them in and you're done; you don't have to install the Command Center to even really use the headset and they work well out of the box. Moving onto the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro, these things are fairly beastly in design with the largest benefit bringing me over to these are the replaceable battery and charging dock. With no longer having to worry myself with actually charging the headphones on a cable. Some things that make this product more challenging to work with is; in order to consume a majority of the devices functionality you must install the software; there is a huge dependency on the software installation and configuration. This dependency on the software turns into the software creating bunch of virtual input & output devices that get translated by the DAC\Transmitter to the headphones. Because of this software dependency, I have had many problems with the device configuration getting all screwed up just by unplugging the USB cable on the DAC and plugging it back in again, all of the virtual devices lose their connectivity forcing me to have to do a hard removal of software and hardware devices to allow the software to re-add and reconfigure the virtual output/input devices again, and the configuration cannot currently be exported or backed up so everything that I customize has to be reconfigured all over again. The features that this offers has me staying with the product for now as I really love the charging base and replaceable battery; otherwise for the simplicity offered by the functionality of the Astro A50's... if they ever come out with a similar charging station and replaceable battery to eliminate an actual connection or plug requirement ... I would be going back to them.

I like them because i dont never have to charge them or keep them plug in for recharge. The hub charges the battery so it only take 5 - 10 seconds to switch batteries and have endless wireless playtime. Comfort is good enough, sound great and mic is ok. If you hate neededing to charge it or hook up a cable this is the one for you.

These sounded really good, had lots of features, and i loved that i could game on my PS5 and listen to YouTube on my phone at the same time with this headset. I unfortunately returned them for 2 reasons. First, they did not fit my head really well, they would slide forward all the time if I moved at all, I tried several adjustments, but none worked for me. Second, they made my ears warm, and that bothered me. I strongly believe these will be awesome for most people out there, and the audio is awesome, footsteps on demand when you tweak the eq.

What a beautiful headset. Definitely a bit more on the expensive side, but I think it's worth the money. Let's start off with the wireless base station. It's very easy to use, doesn't slide around when trying to turn up and down volume, easy access to ANC and Transparency mode, and when using SteelSeries Sonar, the game audio/chat mixer is an amazing addition. The second battery charges in the station while you're gaming, so it's always at full charge when you need to swap it out. Onto the headset itself; what a beautiful headset this is. The design of the headset is rugged yet smooth finished, the adjustable head band creates the perfect seal from the outside world, the microphone passes with good quality in my opinion, and the sound quality is exactly what you'd expect for the price tag. SteelSeries did a great job with these headphones, between the base station, the design, the quality, the ANC/Transparency, and the ability to Bluetooth connect to your phone. I give them an easy 9.6/10.

Upgraded after Artics 7 went out. Awesome headset. Multiple batteries to keep it powered up as the other battery charges in the mix amp. Plus the option to plug them up with usb-c charger if you want. Sleek, Comfortable and Sound great!

Very nice headset, sound quality is very good, 2 batteries each holding 22 hours of battery life for a total of 44 hours. I upgraded from the Astro A50 wireless, and I have to say this headset is 10x better. I havent noticed any issues with the ANC device hurting my ears like other reviews on here. The ANC device is right in the middle of the ear cup and my ears go around it completely.

First off, these headphones are great at what they do - providing great sound quality and noise cancellation. The extra included battery was also nice, so you can have one charging and one in the headphones at all times. The reason I’m giving this product 4 starts is for a couple reasons. Firstly I’ve noticed that if I wear the headphones for too long they start to hurt my ears, the inner peace on the headphones sticks out a bit and can make your ears hurt/sore, but it’s not the end of the world. The second problem I’ve had with these headphones is that when the battery is almost dead you get this static sound which I thought was no problem and have tried resolving the issue by swapping the batteries out for the new one but it still happens. Overall they are great at what they do but have some minor drawbacks and if I were you I’d look into a cheaper alternative.

I purchased these headsets back in September for my birthday. I have been very happy with them. I haven’t had any problems. They worked very well. Sound quality is amazing. You could switch between game and video game chat so you can turn up the volume on each one separately, it also comes with two batteries that you can charge in the dock. I love that being wireless is amazing. Another great thing about these headsets as it’s wireless. Overall great pick, I have other headsets that I use and I would say I prefer these over them. Definitely worth the money.

I was skeptical about these but i am very impressed and love them. I own Arctis Nova 3 Wired and have those plugged into a sound blaster sound card but these nova pros with dac sound way better. For the pc, you can adjust the settings and the bass is great. These are great for gaming esp for games that directional sound is important. The only con is that the these are a little tight and i dont have a large head just fyi for people with large heads might be uncomfortable hours a few hours.

Didn’t think spending so much for a headset would really matter, but this one’s a game changer. Sleek design so that you can take it with you without having people look at you funny for having a gaming headset, and the utility and customization options are second to none. The ease of charging your battery and always having a backup battery is a game changer, and the ability to make my game quieter and chat louder with one simple knob is my saving grace. I no longer have to mess with in game audio, going into control panel to make certain games softer, I just have to adjust my ChatMix through the base station. Well worth the price for ease of use, comfort, portability, and versatility.

I have the Turtle Beach Stealth 600, been having them since like 2016. I bought the Arctics Nova Pro just to see what the hype is about and see if they match up to my Turtle beach. Unfortunately, the turtle beach stealth 600 is better to me. The sound quality is better and the turtle beach headset is more comfortable. The only thing i would say is better with the Arctics Nova Pro is the mic. Other than that Turtle beach stealth 600 is better. Im returning the Arctics Nova Pro and will continue using my current headset.
