Audio is not the best for the price of the headset and the mic picks up too much background noise even with adjusting the mic threshold. Worst of all the left ear audio goes out. Definitely would not recommend this mic.

Steelseries please fix the noise canceling nub

After a while, the noise canceling nub made my ears hurt. The sound was great on these with games and music. The microphone also sounded great. If you can fit these without the ear discomfort caused by the noise canceling nub, they are amazing.

Is the "audio great"? I guess, when it decides to work. But how about every time Windows updates and GG Series can't figure out it's only job? It breaks EVERY. SINGLE. UPDATE. Or when the headset is your only enabled/default audio device, and your applications just decide not to show up in GG Series. These aren't it. (Unless you're cool with 10-15 minutes of garbage when you turn them on; if that's your jam then, YEA! Go for it.)
