Not Worth The Price

I really wanted a pair of Astro A40s with the MixAmp Pro or A50s; however, Astro does not have a 4K pass-through for their PS5 headset adapter. The sound quality was comparable to the standard $20 headset. I returned them and purchased the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless for Xbox.

Please look up "Arctis Pro Broken" before buying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As the title states, please look up "Arctis Pro Broken" before buying. There is a design issue where the headset will break at the hinge that attaches the earcup over time. Mine took 4 years to break, but most have reported that theirs broke within 2 years or less. Sadly, this is an excellent headset besides this major design flaw. A headset should not break at the hinge, especially when it is advertised as a "luxurious" product.

The software you need to download to get the most out of it is pretty simple to use as well. I opted for the wired version so I could use it across multiple platforms (PC, XBOX, PS5). They are a bit sensitive when it comes to the finish, some of it has started to rub off after a couple months.

It has an app where you can choose different settings for the headphones and I do love the RGB lights. I haven’t had any issues with it, it’s been working great. The microphone is perfect as well, my friends have been able to hear me with no issues and it’s been crystal clear! If you buy this, you won’t regret it!
