These worked great for a long time at one point they stopped letting me adjust the colors on steel series software and the dial couldn’t sense the chat features idk if that on my end or not tho

Although these headphones have a really good audio quality and microphone quality. the chatmix dial ruins it for me because it was the only thing that caused me problems while also being the only part that can connect to my pc with audio and mic since the 3.5mm jack did not come with an audio splitter. For some god unknown reason, being day 1 out of the box with no use before hand. the chatmix dial would sometimes cutoff connection entirely to the headphones and also cut out the microphones input/output.

If the only requirement is sound and good mic, then its an easy recommendation. If you want to factor in the price, then you might be willing to look at other options. If these are ever on sale, just pull the trigger and get them. They really do sound good.

Nice feel, but the sound was just too low, mix amp not compatible with ps5. Maybe the 7 series but i still feel it’s better to wait for manufacturers to produce a headset designed for the ps5

First one a purchased was a defect and didn’t work at all except for high pinched noises. Second one lasted few weeks then started doing the same thing! Not what I expected for a 220 headset.

This is my second pair of these (one for me and my wife) and the first pair worked great, but this second one not so much. We keep having connectivity issues and the wire keeps twisting so much that it has dented the wire in several places. Last night my wife was trying to untwist it (again) and the wire tore at the spot it constantly twists at. With the price of these headphones, we expect them to last more than a few months. It's frustrating that the quality can vary so much pair to pair.

I really wanted to keep this headset. The sound was great but unfortunately, the comfort wasnt great for me. I guess my head was to big because even after adjusting the headband, it would still pull on my head.

I had the xbox steel series arctis 9x and they lasted 3 years until the swivel broke then i made the switch to pc and so i got these. They’re great for for the price. But a little tight after 2 hrs of warzone.

These headphones have a adjustable strap that distributes the weight of the headset evenly across your head. The battery life is in-freaking-sane! When you disable the LED, it will last for about 24 hours, 12+ with the lights on.

I'm not sure why the SteelSeries gets so much hype. First, I bought this for the Xbox One which I made sure that it could be used for it, via the 3.5 mm in the controller. The sound was good, and that's all the positive for it. My cons: no one in my game parties could hear me saying I was faint sounding. The headset main "steel" frame is not adjustable and it squeezed my head which was given me headaches after an hour of playing, as well as it squeezes the ears more than they should be. The attached adapter for the colors can be USB connected for the light up but no audio would come through the headset. For the price point $179.99 USD and VERY limited xbox compatibility it is a pass. Again, the sound was good, even on my PC which was not what I got it it for. This may be a great headset on Playstation, so don't let that stop you, just not for Xbox. I only tried it due to Best Buys EXTREMELY LACKLUSTER SELECTION in their stores. Only display headsets and the day I got the SteelSeries (pc area headsets) the lady in the video game department said they just got the shipment with everything in totes and everything should be out the next day. Bought what I had, next week returned it, still no more headsets and this time my wife asked the same lady and she got the same answer I got last week so I joined up and questioned it saying I came that next day and there was no headsets which she replied they go quick. I came in when it opened. I was able to see a $40 TurtleBeach Recon 70 which is a 100 times better than this Arctis. This will tied me over till a better headset becomes available. I give Best Buy a year or two or they will no longer be a box store due to the constant dwindling of products. No BluRay DVD selection, No music. There was only about 20 games for each system (PS, X, Nintendo).Even their phone products are shrinking. Very sad but oh well. You want to succeed Best Buy, provide for your customers products or Amazon will eat you. Final...this may be the best for PC or playstation. For Xbox stay away!!!

Amazing for blocking out sound, and are a little weird to get use to. The bass isbt that good and is practically impossible to hear peoples footsteps. Would recommend if not playing Esports games

Even though these are wired, the wire can hook up to your Xbox 1 Controller. This product works well with the Xbox 1. I have not tried them out for the PC yet.

The flexible headband is perfect and of good quality. However, the headset randomly shuts off sometimes and I have to reset my controller. This is only on the Xbox console, so it’s to be expected; for PC, it works just fine!

I love these headphones. Had them for a while, being able to change volume between game and game chat is amazing. I also use them for mixing music in my home studio.

I have no complaints about this headset. Works as intended, love the chat/game dial. It's super nice being able to turn down the game volume during loud load up screens and chat with your buddies.

It slowly lost sound in 1 ear now it has no sound at all

I've always been a strong supporter of the wired gaming headsets, and honestly i think i always will be. Not spending way to much money, there is just something about wired headsets that sets them apart.

They are built really good but the ears dont move down far enough. The bottom of my ear would not go into the ear piece. It needs the sides to slide up and down to fit your head.

Doesnt fit well with large heads, alot of wires, feels outdated, decent sound
