It will keep sliding around if you do. The quality is great for the price, and I would say just as good as the pricey mouse pads out there.

Not better than the corsair pad

Sometimes I use it when I'm laying in bed to play games on my laptop where I need to use my mouse. I had a $5 reward certificate that was going to expire so I ended up buying this for $5.40 total.
