    I spend hours at a time in Photoshop and the surface of my keyboard shelf was getting worn. I'd had mouse pads before, but they were always too small, and my mouse kept sliding off the edge. This one covers completely, right up to the edge of my keyboard and the surface lets my mouse move so smoothly. It was definitely the right choice.
