I would use this just for mouse. I would definitely get xl to cover the keyboard if there is no padding on the hand rest.

It's a mousepad.

There's not much you can expect from a mousepad other than not slipping around on your desk, not being wrinkled, holding together, and having a consistent texture. The logo is painted on, not stitched, and you can hear the mouse skates going over it. Also has a few very minor bumps on the bottom edge in the stitching that don't affect the playing surface. I'm just kind of surprised they never flattened out. Solid product and price overall. Hard to complain about it.

This thing is big

But be sure to check the dimensions because this thing is BIG. I had to return it and download a size since it took up way too much space on my desk.

It's also thin, so I can put my keyboard on it and not have the keyboard wobble. Larry David will tell you that wobbly keyboards are no good!
