It's pretty bright. The smooth fabric allows your mouse to glide across. The stitching that holds the rgb strip is clear compared to a visible black thread like Razer has. Sturdy construction and the app to change the rgb is user friendly. I would say it is sort of pricey but you pay for the quality and aesthetics.

Just what I was looking for…

I like the SteelSeries software to pull everything together with mouse and keyboard. Only giving 4 stars as the edges of the pad tend to occasionally ripple and I need to make tedious adjustments to make it lay flat again…the ripples a are a bit annoying in appearance when you want all straight lines, but that is the only reason I took a star off.
