The lighting is smooth all the way around, except the upper left edge where the cable connects. This isn't a big issue for me as my keyboard is mostly covering that part anyway.

It works great for my Corsair gaming mouse and fits the keyboard with room to spare. The RGB adds so much character to the whole desk. I will get another for my next PC.

Room for keyboard and mouse. Easy set up. Lighting is perfect. Not to bright and not to dim. You can change brightness via the app.

Definitively recommend it if you like extended mousepads and you want to add some flair to your setup.
