I must admit I am very happy with the Steel Series 3 Rival Mouse. This is a nice simple mouse that works really well. It has satisfying clicks, great registration and easy to use. You need a mouse for gaming that is light, feels great (it is right handed) and is easy to use this is the mouse. SETUP: Nothing fancy, plug it in to a USB port. Its a wired mouse and the wire is more then long enough to reach the back of my desktop to the front of my desk with plenty of slack. No wireless setup, just works. I enjoy that. You can install the software, which seems solid, easy to use and adjust your profiles. Additionally you can set config's with the software to executables/games making it easy to control profiles so you have one for Rocket League and another for Division 2 etc. I also did like the lighting options. If RGB lighting is your thing this has some newer and different options for RGB I haven't seen before which was a nice change in pace. If you aren't into RGB, which I totally understand, you can turn it off with a simple selection of disable RGB. Overall the software configuration and options for the mouse seem perfect without going crazy. Usage: While this mouse seemed at first a bit lighter then I liked I didn't have any issues. It glided across my desk and had no issues. The clicking is a great feeling and it was just a joy to use and concentrate on my game and not worry about the mouse, or more accurately I can't blame this mouse for my horrible game play. Its all me. That is great. Overall I'm very happy with this mouse. This mouse has won me over and I'm very happy with it. If you need a mouse for gaming, that doesn't require 30 buttons (you Moba guys) this is a great mouse and I have no reservation recommending this mouse. A solid product that does what you want. Get you into the game.

I bought this mouse. The other mouse i had I bought in December. Just didn’t last me. It was the razor mouse. I would not recommend it to customers. The only good thing is I bought warranty. I got this new mouse. I am happy that this one has work and us doing a great job.

For the price it’s a great gaming mouse and I totally recommend it

For the money it's a pretty solid device. RGB is pretty good, function of the mouse is what you'd expect for this price range.

Mouse feels solid and not too heavy but the software that controls the dpi shuts off frequently despite having "fixed" the issue multiple times i haven't had this issue with steel series mice that don't have a secondary software.

I think I just got a faulty mouse. After about 3 days the left button quit working. It wouldn't register when you would click it. There were so many excellent reviews for it so I thought it was going to be a nice economically priced mouse. I do think it was just a fluke based off of everyone else's ratings. Best Buy returned it no problem. I would've probably tried the same mouse again but they were out of it by then so I had to get a different mouse.

So far so good. The light color change beautifully.

Was working fine until the left click button cane off . Maybe that one was defective

mouse is not working correctly and the left click started creaking and the wired is already coming loose. not even a month it started breaking down. mouse's these dats are made of poor quality. never trusting this company. poor made products.

This is a basic mouse. Nothing spectacular. The grid is good, size is OK

It broke in 2 months. My son dropped it once and it broke.

still pretty new to gaming mouse on what to look for after using Rival 3 for about 5 days now I think I have a pretty good idea of what to look for my preference, the packaging was clean even says it’s a winner from ign so that’s sounds good when you see something like that outside the box, makes you wonder what so good about it. let’s start with pros Pros: -the matted feel of the mice was great does feel cheap -it’s lightweight so if you prefer light mice you might like this one -steelseries engine 3 command center was another application that is simple to use -the led light have 3 zones that you can customize at command center - super soft wiring also feels excellent doesn’t annoy me like other mice I tried. - the last thing would be the solid $30 price tag cons: - nothing much I found negative about this mouse than I felt like the two side buttons were a little to small for my liking, i wish they could make it stand out a little bit more - the weight is also a positive but also a negative, people might not like how the weight of this mouse and would prefer a heavier device. overall I think for what you’re paying for it’s worth checking out for the price tag, i’m sure i’ll eventually get used it, it gets solid 4 star.
