Only bought this movie so we could watch the original before watching the 2017 version. This movie was originally made for TV as a miniseries and lacks depth. I'm not a Steven King fan myself, so this just didn't work for me.

It was boring. I don't understand why this movie is so popular. Also, the transfer was decent for the first half of the movie only.

I must admit I never watched this when it first came out. I only wish I had so I wouldn't of wasted my money on the bad acting. Tim Curry was the only thing this movie had going for it.

Not a scary/creepy film at all. Unlike other horror classics, this one cannot hold its own over the years. I would only recommend you buy this film if you loved it when it came out.

I missed seeing this one as a kid, but I remembered it, so I picked it up since the remake is coming out soon. it wasnt what I was expecting. Blu ray quality was very good though

I saw this on television years ago and somehow thought it was better then. After watching it again, I was disappointed. Apparently years ago I wasn't as discriminating in what I viewed.

A made for TV movie can't do any Stephen King adaptation justice. I remember liking it as a kid in the 80s, but it doesn't fare well in adulthood. It's still good to scare the kids!

The book is great but the movie isn't. I watch it from how well the book was written but the movie doesn't serve justice. Hopefully the remake this year will be better.
