Even though this was shot in the 80s the sound and video quality are great. The band is excellent and I love how the concert was set up.

Even indifferent music fans will enjoy what is created on stage and the performance captured on this video. I will not go into the deeper audiophile realm of bit rates and mixing, ect..., but sufficient to say even friends who "heard of the Talking Heads" became fans after watching this production.

I love this concert. Great show, lots of energy, and songs I remember on the radio from high school. If your a fan pick it up. Sounds great on my speakers too.

The audio of the dvd is missing in several places. This is a disappointment considering the dvd is new, nearly $30 with shipping, and not a used item.

I first saw this on Netflix where it is free to watch. Then I checked it out of our public library. Two weeks is not enough. I need to own it. I was not this much of a Talking Heads fan before seeing "Stop Making Sense." I knew they had a couple good songs, but the DVD just blew me away. I like them all. There is also a song in the concert by the Tom Tom Club which is also great. Highly reccommended. Special Features are good too.

This is arguably the best live concert DVD I've ever seen. If you are a Heads fan... you must own this DVD and share it with your friends. This version (re-mixed- re-mastered) is better than the original release in that it has extras like commentary and such. I don't have a Bluray but I have a HD TV and the quality is great but I'd spend the extra 5 bucks if i\I did.....Enjoy

An absolute joy to watch. It seems as fresh the tenth viewing as it does the first time you see it. This film does an amazing job of capturing one of the most influential bands of the New Wave era. The combination of David Byrne's artistic vision with Jonathan Demme's direction make it a must-see even if you only have a passing interest in Talking Heads music.

David Byrne is a great performer and looking back in time was no different. They were a pretty exceptional band even though very simple. He is still great to see live today. I saw him in Louisville and Bonnaroo and the performances are entertaining to say the least.

The Talking Heads are the greatest band of all time, and this is the greatest music doc of all time.
