Great movie with great music and great script! Highly Recommended!

Although some of story is fictionalized, nice account on rise (and fall) of one of greatest hip hop groups in music history. Wish it'd received more recognition at awards time.

Great movie. When music was good and not garbage. Very good movie

First half of the movie is fantastic with it focusing on the formation of NWA, and touring but once the second half of the movie kicks in, the movie struggles with having it's protagonist split up and struggles to balance telling the stories of Dre, Cube, Eazy, with Ren and Yella basically disappearing. It's an entertaining movie, but don't expect much in terms of big reveals and details. The extended cut adds some extra character beats, but nothing much that'll change the way you view the movie.
