Great movie and Story plot. Great casting including ice cubes son as ice cube. The movie depicts the rough times of Compton and LA vividly. Great to watch for the new and older generations that are into orginal gangster rap.

I saw this movie in theaters and was spell bound. This movie took me and my friends on a journey through the 90's that we didn't know because we were to young. The music was great and the actors were outstanding. This movie was so good I wanted to buy another ticket to watch it again.

I expected something more somber going in, due to all the deaths that have occurred since NWA became a thing, but it's actually a great underdog, rags-to-riches tale that doesn't stop until it's done. Very powerful and worth watching, but probably after the kids are put to sleep.

I grew up during that time. I remember when they first hit Houston I was amaze at the music and lyrics because I could relate to what they were going through The movie was exactly how I pictured them. Later after the breakup I met mc ren at a club here in h- town. I enjoyed the movie

The movie is simply amazing. Anyone familiar with rap and hip hop know the story of NWA. Seeing it on film from the perspective of those who lived and representing all minorities experienced living in Los Angeles during the 80s and 90s see what the realities are.

If you weren't a fan of NWA growing up or even if you were, this is just a great, great movie. It's produced by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube so they skip over Dre's history of violence against women but it's pretty informative and entertaining. Great performances by everyone involved.

When I saw the trailer for this movie, I knew it would be good, but I didn't think it would be amazing. I grew up knowing about NWA, but this showed so much behind the scenes. The highlight was O'Shea Jackson Jr. looking exactly like his father Ice Cube in the film. Highly recommend!

This is the best movie I have seen yet that is trying to explain someone's life or way of life in a long time. Very entertaining, great music, love seeing how one of the biggest groups during my teenage years started and grew. Love this movie! Have watched it at least a dozen times.

This is a really good movie portraying the story behind NWA. There are scenes that may not be suitable for children but the music and storyline were great. This movie shed some light on how the back story to NWA came about. I loved this movie and bought it the first day it came out.

One of the better rap movies I have seen. I really like the movie the music of coarse. The music brings me back to when rap was better. Bumping this old NWA toons in the old Jeep.

What can be said that hasn't already been said. This is the story about the world's most dangerous group N.W.A. A roller coaster ride of ups and downs, but a phenomenal story none the less. If you are a West Coast Rap fan or want to see a deep true story. Pick this Blu-Ray up today!

Straight Outta Compton is a great "take-me-back" film that provided a glimpse into the rise of gangster rap and the obstacles that the artists faced both internally and externally in their quest to bring this unique art form into prominence. The performances were authentic and raw.

This is a great movie. Even if you aren't a fan of the classic hip hop group it's based on, you can watch the movie and appreciate the acting and the way it captures the struggle of people just trying to make a living doing what they are good at.

This was a very truthful and well told biopic of N.W.A. and also does a great job going back to the beginning of rap taking off as a legitimate music form. Can't argue with the story when it's produced by the men who were there. Cube's son did a better acting job than I expected.

I liked their music growing up, so it was cool to see how Dre & Eazy got their start with NWA. Although I've read some people felt like this was not an accurate portrayal of some of these artists, I get the impression the film gets most of it right, and it's very entertaining.

As a long-time rap fan, this movie did not disappoint. As I watched the movie, I felt as though I was reliving my high school years as I could remember certain times with friends listening to NWA and later The Chronic by Dr. Dre. The acting was superb and the story was great.

This is the essence of West coast hip hop. To see how an essential group paved the way for the west coast to thrive and prosper in hip hop you have to witness how it all began. I was disappointed they skipped over some important details but overall top 3 best movies of 2015.

This is a great iconic movie that’s a true musical classic. It’s a historical look at the early influences of rap and its relationship to police brutality. Everyone should see this at least once.
