I bought this as a gift for my husband. He had been wanting to see it and was excited to do so. It wasn't something that I would normally be interested in. He really enjoyed.

Feels like there is more to the story that was left out. Even though it's about 3 hours long. This would have made a better miniseries on FX than a movie.

its ok the story of the first rappers in gangsters version that lead the way for all the other hard core gangster rappers to come this movie should be for adults only

Straight Outta Compton was an ok movie. I was not what it was hyped up to be though. I did learn a lot and I definitely added this movie to my collection.

This is worth watching if you have any interest in the subject matter. It's a good movie, and the blu-ray is a decent presentation of it as well.

I had higher expectations. Midway through the movie, it was a sleeper. I think if I didn't know the story, it may have been hard for me to grasp it.

It was okay. I just like the way it brought back some of the old music I used to listen to and I guess since I'm older now my taste kind of changed.

i forced myself to buy this film.. so much had been written about it and nwa...by end of film I knew why I detested rap.. but in fairness, film was fairly well done and some people were interesting in it. but it is a way of life that is completely out of touch with all the rest of society.. and perhaps that is why so many young white suburban kids like rap? in the end, it is mysoginistic, violent, immature and silly..

Good movie to watch & learn about west coast Rap pioneers N.W.A & also has a good ol school soundtrack to go along with the movie.

havent seen it yet but this got great reviews from critics and oscar buzz. a hip hop drama/portrayal, cant wait to watch it

This is history from the 90s and hip hop! So if you grew up from the 90s and like gangsta rap! This film is good for ya!

I personally thought it was a little to long. Probably about 30 minutes to long. It wasnt a bad movie, just drug on a little.

Good movie that will bring back memories or take you to the time when rap started a movement and the artist who created it.

Only problem with this product is that the extended edition isn't in 4k.

It was very interesting movie . I didn't know it happen this way . It was a ok movie . I remember alit of songs for it .

I usually am fully satisfied with the movies I buy from Best Buy but this one was scratched on the first day.

It was okay. There was a part with nudity I did not like. Just was a pretty rough movie. Do not watch with your kids.

I enjoyed watching this movie. I was a little young when NWA came out so it was cool to see their story on screen.

Honestly I seen it at the movies and didn't pay much attention but I'm glad I own the film it was a good movie

They should've let Easy-E's son play him. They also didn't go into the whole story, so I'm waiting for part 2.
