I love rap, so I might be a bit biased in this review but Straight Outta Compton was terrific. Heartfelt, intense, and surprisingly moving. Plus you get to see some female breasts! Score!

I thought the movie was great in telling the story of nwa even though they cleaned it up a bunch. It's almost made for kids except for the nudity but it was very nice finally seeing it in a movie and not a documentary.

As far as biopics go, this is one of my favorites. The writing was realistic, and the actors did a great job at helping us relive the 80s and 90s. Specifically, Ice Cube jr did a tremendous job portraying his father.

I love NWA. I love this movie. There are some things added in of course. It’s a movie so they have to add a few random things but this tells a perfect story about NWA

I loved the film. It evoked emotion and told a wonderful story of historical significance in the United States for struggle with race relations. Hip hop exists, as it is today, because of the story told in this movie.

This movie was fantastic and a shame it wasn't nominated for an Oscar. This was not a typical around the way hood movie, you really felt the lives of the group members. Their mark on the world can never be forgotten!!

this movie is very good and tells a lot about how all the characters got their start and how they let things change them and how they realized that the only thing that really matters is your family and friends

I grew up post-NWA era, but I listed to a lot of Hip Hop from the late 1980s and early 1990s. This is an amazing movie that spotlights all 5 members of the group. I really enjoyed the characters and overall storyline.

A rags to riches story about some of the most influential individuals in the rap industry. A great story that shows the reward of persistence. An awesome soundtrack and award worthy acting. This is a must see!

This film brought back time for those of us did not grow up in this era. It told the story of how this all came about for those of us that may not have been around or did not understand the struggle. Very good movie.

This was a great movie worthy of yr $$ but def not Oscar worthy. Being a HUGE 90s rap fan and following every move of every member of NBA, I thought it was stupid that they (I'm sure on dre''s direction) totally ignored hs beef with EZ. Dre Day and EZs Dre diss album 187 Um Killa were a bit deal. Other than that, compelling, nostalgic movie. I ever buy movies anymore, but this is one I wanted to own.

Straight Outta Compton...is THE BEST MOVIE OF ALL TIME! I Just HAD To Buy Both a Regular Copy AND a Blu-ray Disc at the same time because I just KNEW I Was going to wear one of them down watching it every week!

Old school NWA fans might have issues with the story line as it's blatantly told from cube and dres perspective. Maybe it makes for a better movie this way but they changed the way they were formed and left out a few very key players inuding Arabian Prince who was an original member. People who have no knowledge of the origins of NWA will enjoy the way the story is told as overall it is a good movie.

This movie is both nostalgic and thought provoking. It felt good to go down memory lane with some of the great music and learn about what happened behind the scenes with the rise and fall of this legendary group.

This is one of the best movie i had seen.Delivered a good message and a great way to young people learn how this rapstars begin and why they started to rap.Magnificent piece of art this movie is.

I absolutely loved this movie! I went to see it twice in theatres and when I found out it was on blu-Ray I went straight to Best Buy! I love history and movies about true situations and stories, so this was a must.

This was a great movie! It was well put together. I love how they told the story of Eazy-E and how they gave him his credit, although he's deceased. I was very pleased in learning the history of this famous group.

This movie brought me back to my teenage years. It explained things you heard in the music back before everything was instantly available on the internet. I have watched it several times and never grow tired of it.
