A history of NWA. Awesome movie and has you hooked within the first five minutes. Great background on all the people who shaped hip hop out in LA

I really enjoyed this movie. I was not expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. Great story and acting. Was a bit longer at times than it needed to be, but still very good. Better than most music bio-pics for sure.

I could watch this a million times and still not get bored. Such a great Movie! Unfortunately the 4k didnt differ much from the original 1080p blu ray and the 1080p version may be your best bet

I saw this movie in the theaters and had to buy it once it came on DVD. I listened to NWA, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre for years and the wanted to see the extra scenes in the movie. The acting and story line was great!

If you grew up in the 80s & 90s, you were probably aware of N.W.A. This was a highly enjoyable movie. Make sure you get this director's cut, the special features are worth the price.

Great movie which shows the history of rap and N.W.A.. If you like gangsta rap and Westcoast hip hop this movie will give you a chance to see how hard it was for rap to make it into mainstream music entertainment.

This was the music I listened to growing up. Knowing the stories of everything that happened and being a part of it was awesome (and sad). This movie was great at bringing back some old memories of my childhood.

If you love hip hop/rap culture then you need to have this movie! It shows the rise of one of the most influential rap groups of all time! Great acting by no-name actors & the way the story is told is brilliant.

The film itself is nearly perfect, and it's a shame it wasn't nominated and didn't win more awards. The bluray is lacking decent special features. I rarely watch them anymore, but I would have liked to see more.

Seriously one of my favorite movies of 2015. I've been looking forward to this movie since the Notorious movie came out in 2009. You're doing yourself a favor, if you're a hip-hop fan, if you pick this movie up!

This was a fantastic movie, and I really enjoy the extra docs and commentary. It is also easy to add to my iTunes collection to watch the movie as well as the extras included in the DVD.

Loved this movie. It is a fun watch and a great time. If you love NWA's music or love any of the members you will love this telling of their story. It is worth a watch and is interesting all the way through.

This movie is very compelling, , especially if you were a teenager in the late 80's The soundtrack adds to the storytelling, and keeps you glued to the screen.

Great acting from little known stars. It showed the pitfalls of "trusting without validation" as well as the obstacles in your way when you want to do it your way. Good lessons learned film for upcoming stars.

This movie was excellent and brought back a lot of memories of when NWA ruled west coast hip hop. All of the main characters were believable in their roles and some award winning. Definitely worth a purchase.

I had high hopes for this movie and this movie delivered! I grew up during the heyday of NWA, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac. It was nice to see this section of the music industry being represented.

This was an excellent film that depicted the origins of West Coast rap music and some of the key players who made it happen. In my opinion, this movie should've got more nods for an Academy Awards nomination.

Saw the movie while on vacation in Denver. Had to buy the Blu Ray copy for my personal collection . Music soundtrack was on point . The gentleman playing EasyE looked/sounded like the reincarnation of Easy E

I am generally not a fan of gangster rap, if that is even the right category. But this story made me feel for the characters and what they went through in their struggle to succeed in the business.
