This movie must have been probably one of the better movies I saw in 2015. All the acting superb as well as the picture quality. I love N.W.A. However, I didn't think a movie was necessary but it was pulled off really well. They did miss one important but I won't spoil it. Awesome movie definitely worth the purchase.

Being a long - time fan of NWA, I have yet to have seen this movie. I have heard that it was a great movie when it was released in theaters earlier this year. I have also heard that there may be a part 2 of this movie. Big shout out to NWA, Cube / Dre. Let me know if and when you need some movie extras...

This film is absolutely AMAZING! It will run most through a gamut of emotions, as you will laugh out loud & have your heart touched at moments. The character portrayals were as accurate as humanly possible & it is a travesty that none of the actors were nominated for Academy Awards. A MUST HAVE FOR ANY COLLECTION!

A phenomenal movie about a true musical legacy. I grew up loving NWA and Easy E and honestly didn't have high hopes when I heard there was a movie coming out but I was pleasantly surprised when I watched it. The movie isn't completely factually correct but it does a great job of sharing the story of these legends.

This movie is one of the greatest pieces of art and entertainment i've ever had the pleasure to enjoy!! A great view into some of the greatest entertaining geniuses of our time if not of all time! The actors, writers, directors(and everyone else involved) were ROBBED by not being acknowledged at the award shows.

I enjoyed this movie. I was in college when NWA first came out. I was shocked at what they were saying. It is pretty amazing how things turned out for Dr.Dre and Ice Cube. Even if you are not a fan of the music I think you could still like it. This is definitely an R rated movie and not suitable for kids. There is profanity, violence, and nudity but there is also the story of how they came together and broke up over money. The acting performances are solid and the movie never drags. But, if you have no interest the music or the group it might not be for you.

A great film and an Excellent upgrade! The Picture and sound are intense as well as AMAZING! This is the way to watch this film! Great deal too, Thank you BestBuy! I highly recommend getting your copy while you still can!

Very well made movie based on a true story Ice Cube son actually plays Ice Cube to a very good movie the director's cut is better 20 minutes longer

The story of the rap groups of that time, namely NWA is told with great accuracy. Sadly, it would take two or three more movies to tell a complete story of those times and climate overall. I remember it like yesterday and the social strife was real. The music transcended the times and changed the industry of Music, as a major genre. The rich got rich and the workers took what was left over to live a life within the rap community. We lost a few good Rappers but their music still remains, today

While the content matter is for adults I found the message of the film to be for everyone. Learned a lot of what happened way back then to them and about them. I remember when NWA was in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This is well worth owning and seeing again.

I grew up listening to these guys so I knew the story. The movie did a good job of depicting their come up. I wish MC Ren would have been addressed more because he was crucial to their success. The music took me back to my childhood.

This movie is much more than just a movie about a rap group. Race, & Freedom of Speech are just a two aspects of the film, The story is great and the portrayals are spot on. It should have been nominated. I think it didn't get considered because of the people at the center of the story.

This movie is an awesome window into the past, I love how it represents the late 80's and early 90's of Compton and hip hop... of course I disagree with how accurate the story of these hip hop icons is portrayed, I'm sure there's a lot they had to leave out but it's still a great film.

It shows the background stuff that brought them all together. And even though they had some issues between them, they still had love for each other. It just goes to show that money and fame can be a blessing or a curse. ...Plus a convincing 2pac look alike was in it, by the name of Marcc Rose.

I wanted to watch the movie no matter what, but I was really surprised how good it was! O'Shea Jackson is a carbon copy of his father (Ice Cube), which helped with the realism. If you're on the fence about watching this or not, just take the plunge and do it. I bet you won't be disappointed!

WOW! Great movie! At first I had a hard time understanding the "dialect" and had to rewind a few times. By the end, I felt educated and enlightened on what it really meant to be black in Compton area in CA. Even though this was very popular music, mainstream culture just "didn't get it".

This movie painted a clear picture for me as to what it was like for the group NWA coming into fame from a rough neighborhood in LA. Lots of drama/action in this movie kept me interested through the whole thing. ICE CUBE is clearly a GOD when it comes to making movies as well as music.

Ok, aside from the music that is by NWA. This movie is written very well, everything is in place. I was born and raised and grew up with NWA! I ove this movie, I watched it once I got home. Those who don't like the music, watch it anyways. This is film history based in Compton and NWA...

Growing up in the I used to listen to NWA all the time. This movie follows the rise and fall of the Original Gangster rappers. The movie stays true to the group’s activities with the rise and fall of the group. I would highly recommend this movie to anybody growing up in that era. Enjoy!

The story, the casting, and the soundtrack for this movie were all A-1. One of the best musical-based movies since Ray. You will enjoy this movie whether you're a hip-hop music fan or not. What a shame NWA couldn't find out some kind of way to keep the group together.
