I saw this movie in theaters and couldn't wait to purchase it. Love all the extra and deleted scenes as well. I was to young for any NWA music back then, but it was very informative to situations that happened in California and other states.

if you can grab this at the reduced holiday price grab it!!! The audio alone will make this worth the purchase/upgrade alone. Experience the real birth of west coast rap!

As an older guy I remember when Parliament's first songs hit the radio. Saw the progression to Run DMC. If you want to see a movie about when rap had a message this is the movie to watch. The acting was superb and the soundtrack incredible!

Starts in the late 1980's about rap music and the artists that formed the group N.W.A. This bluray has a lot of extra features. Excellent storyline and acting plus an OSCAR nomination. I recommend getting the soundtrack for this movie also.

This movie was awesome. I grew up listening to NWA; alrhough I'm from the East coast. I didn't realize what the individual group members endured. I thought they did a wonderful job packing in alot of infor4in a short time. Very insightful.

The movie was very well put together. Growing up on the West coast during that time, it was like a year book. There were many things about the group I didn't know. For anyone that loves and respects music you don't want to miss this movie.

This movie takes me back to memory lane. I loved everthing about this movie and learned a thing or two. I think all of the actors did a great job on this one. I knew when I saw this movie at the theatre that I just had to buy the Blu Ray.

This film is an instant classic. Great history on the group. Definitely not for everyone, due to language and nudity, not to mention lyrical content. But I am from that generation so I loved this movie thoroughly.

N.W.A. was one those groups that it didn't matter what kinda music you were into...everyone dug them. Their music was powerful and felt like a kick to the stomach. You believed every word Ice Cube, Easy E were saying. When I heard about this movie I proceeded with caution because music biography movies are so hit or miss. This is a hit. The cast was great and at times it brings you back to the time when music was dangerous.

Loved the movie so I had to have it. Was pleasantly surprised that this package had the DVD, Blu Ray and Digital format for one great price. There were also extras but I have not gotten to them yet since I watched the movie 3 times.

The movie did a great job in telling the NWA story. Could have done a movie on each of the characters individually. Woke up the next morning singing one of the songs from the movie. Rarely do I purchase dvd's but I had to get this one.

This movie called me to have a greater understanding of the members of NWA and the struggles that they had to overcome . The movie is filled with raw human emotions .This is a must see for anyone that listened to the music of this era.

This is one of the best Hip Hop Biopics ever released. Watching the movie and listening to the soundtrack took me back to the time as if I was reliving it. Definitely needed this blu-ray as a part of my dvd/bluray collection.

I did not expect much from this movie. But my 80 year old mom said it was a good movie. Well despite some language & violence, it gave great insight to what was going on during the time period. Really interesting portrayal.

I have some friends who love rap and to me to watch this movie. WY better than I thought really cool seeing how I've cube Dr. Dre and the NWA Started and the problems they faced about race. Great movie and obviously great soundtrack

This was the easily the best picture of the year in my opinion. This picture captures the every day struggles of young youths growing up in a hard environment but overcoming tremendous odds, and obstacles to get there message across.

I grew up in this time and I remember the group performance and just was very authentic to what the group was like. From the look, act, tone, clothes and even the hair. I was very impressed. I just had to have this for my collection.

Whether you're a hip hop fan or a movie fan, this is hands down one of the best movies ever made. It's unfortunate it didn't get more awards than it deserved but as a movie fan, and a hip hop fan myself, this is definitely on repeat!

My children introduced to the band Public Enemy when they first came out! Though some of the lyrics were crude, their message was one that resonated in the truth of the lives of the poor and oppressed. EVERYONE should see this movie
