I really enjoyed the movie because I grew up listening to this an it was a big part of my childhood. And was really great being able to see what they went through, good and bad but it was their reality. So 2 thumbs up from me!!!

Even if your not an NWA fan your sure to like this movie. The actors played their roles great. It was nice to see how these great stars got their shot at the big time. The drama, the betrayals, the violence. It was all just awesome.

I absolutely love this movie. It does reflect the actual events that happen and actors do look almost the same as the real people did in real life. I would recommend this to anyone who listens to N.W.A or Ice Cube or Dr. Dre

Great movie, I enjoyed the story! I grew up with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube although I didn't listen to all of their music it is a great story to be heard. The cast was excellent! Ice Cube's son was excellent played his father perfectly.

While audiences and critics adored this film alike, the academy was very different. A very thought provoking and engaging movie about one of the biggest hip hop groups of all time, it was quite wonderful to watch. A must watch!

I really enjoyed this movie. It was scripted just like I remember it all going down back in the day. The characters in this movie even matched the look of the original members. Great story, great script, great movie. Check it out.

If you are a music lover and do not know how Rap music actually came about, then this movie will show you. I really enjoyed watching this movie even though I did know about the people this movie portrayed. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This movie depicts the rise & struggles of NWA an infamous rap group that has actually made it to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. As a bonus it featured a free TV shirt. If you like the group you will enjoy this movie. RIP Eazy - E!

This movie brought me back memories when this group came out. They were talking about stuff that was happening in their neighborhood when others were afraid to talk about it, like police brutality, racism, drugs, etc...etc...etc.

This was an excellent movie, which I made a point to watch in theaters. I listened to this music when I was in high school and had only a little knowledge of the history and behind the seen story. Cast was well picked as well.

One of 2015's best. Absolutely loved it. Reccomended to everyone interested in the subject matter of 80s/90s hip hop. Just wish Best Buy's blu Rays slip covers wouldn't be slapped with those un-peel able "Best Buy" white stickers

This movie is about the life story of the members of the rap group NWA. It focuses mainly on Eazy-E, Ice Cube, and Dr. Dre. This movie was very good and keeps your attention throughout the entire film. Highly recommended.

This movie will go down as a classic. For those of us who lived through that era, we knew some of the story. They filled in some blanks that some of us really wanted to know about, yet still left some blanks. Overall,great film!

It takes me back to my youngest days and the type of music I used to listen to. It’s also a reminder of the type of life I had growing up in South Central LA and the struggles we had with the police.

I truly enjoyed this movie!!! It was very interesting to see some of the background story of a group that I thoroughly enjoyed listening to back in the day and still listen to from time to time today! A must see in my opinion!!!

A great story of the rise of one of the most influential groups in Hip-Hop history. I love the music and the character development. The video and audio quality is amazing! Add this one to your collection

It a great insight to one of the most notorious rap group of the modern era it’s got the unrated director’s version if your a fan of NWA it’s a must watch

This was a great biopic about one of the most influential rap groups of all time. Not only does it have great music but the cast does a great job of acting. The actors portraying Dr Dre, Ice Cube, and Easy E are excellent.

Straight Outta Compton is directed by F Gary Gray. It is about the formation of the group NWA in the late 80s and early 90s. As a fan of NWA, all the characters portrayed very well and even look alike the real band members.

This film was an excellent depiction on the way the music industry got it's start with Ruthless Records. This is a must see biopic that touches up on some of the other West Coast record companies and how they got there start.
