This movie was amazing. I grew up during all of that. The 1st time I heard NWA was on a bootleg cassette from a big homie in Carson. We begged him to play it, over & over. I learned a lot & knew a lot. This movie was the ish!

Excellent docudrama on one of the most important and most influential rap groups in history. Excellent job cramming so much in the time frame, though there was alot that was untold in the movie. Definitely a collectors item.

ALTHOUGH I LIKE THE MOVIE, MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT I ORDERED ONLINE AND WHEN I PICKED UP THE MOVIE THEY (BB) PUTS A STICKY NAME LABEL ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE MOVIE CASE, I DIDN'T LIKE THAT ON MY MOVIE, MAYBE THATS JUST ME

They did a great job of producing a product that depicts the true story. I like that they left out a lot of unnecessary drama and stuck to the points we really liked about one of the true game changers in the music industry!

If you are going to risk buying the movie even though you haven't seen it. Then I highly recommend making the purchase. It was a great movie seeing where the NWA started and ended. Defiantly a great part of music history.

Straight Outta Compton is a wonderful movie. Watching it brought back some many memories of going up. My only wish while watching it was it could have last longer. I do kinda wish they had cover Easy E story a little more.

I grew up listening to these guys and the music was new and hard for its time. It just brought back all old memories of ones past who lived in that era and how the music had become the voice of the people from the "Hood".

I had only heard reviews when the movie had hit the theater screens & didn't get a chance to see it on the big screen, however, because I grew up listening to N.W.A., I knew I would enjoy their story. AND THEN SOME!!!!!!!

This movie was very moving. The things that happened to the members of NWA was unbelievable. It truly revealed things that I did not know about the group. I have a greater appreciation for their music and accomplishments.

To tell the story of the way in which rap was founded and advertised to the masses was a great. The way in which this story was told was great and having the artist son to portray their younger father's was unforgettable.

This movie was excellent, it brought back my high school memories. It takes you back 25 years and makes you feel good inside. Younger people still enjoy the movie because they get a chance to witness the hype of the past.

I paid $3.00 for this movie and it works great no problems I love digging in the barrels of cheap movies I have never had a problem with any of them yet

This movie is a classic movie that portrays one of Hip Hop's most dangerous rap group. This is a must watch especially if you enjoy Hip Hop music or if you are interested to know about one of its most influential groups.

My family and I really enjoyed the movie. I felt really moved by their struggles in life and how they overcame them. My kids had heard about them thru us and have heard their music before. They thought the movie rocked.

I picked this up to add to my collection, it is a harsh movie to watch-but very accurate as how the rappers began and fought not just with the competition but also their agents. A great addition to any film library.

This film took me back to my youth when hip hop was serving the purpose of telling a story. Very interesting to see how NWA essentially made it to stardom their own hard work with being seriously doubted and criticized.

I was never an NWA fan growing up and thought they were a just another rap group. I was wrong I didnt know how much they meant to the landscape and how big they were. The movie has great performances and gripping story.

This movie is so COOL ! This makes the best Christmas gift ever ! You’ll trip ! You’ll laugh more ! You need this in your collection ! Best Movie ever !

Loved this movie....though I had to ask my hubby quite a few questions during the movie. I wish though that they would have shown the good and the bad. Meaning Dr. Dre was not always on the right side of things. I just think when you're going to talk or show the lives of people you give the good, the bad, and the ugly. Apparently Dr. Dre had a really bad temper back in the day. But hey that's Hollyweird.

For fans of NWA and the times, this is a good & insightful movie. People are complex and things are not as simple as they seem. I learned some things about the members of NWA that I didnt' know. Very interesting movie.
