Great movie, seen in the theater but wanted to start a collect to watch on my 4K tv. My experience at the store wasn't the great and the customer service was terrible, but the movie is great!!!

My husband lived in Torrance during the time this film depicted and found this true to life. For me, it was great to re-live this period of my high school time when this was happening. Well acted.

I graduated high school in 98 and this was the type of music I tended to listen to. It was great getting a little back-story of these guy's lives.Very entertaining, even if you weren't into rap!

This movie is just so classic how they are able to describe what exactly happen more than just being able to hear the music, but understand the challenges people of color faced

Something about Steelbooks draws me to them like a moth to a light. They look nice and are just fun to collect. I also love this film. So I got 2 birds with one stone.

Great movie depicting an icon of a generation, NWA. From the rise to the break up and death of Eazy-E, this movie is a great introduction to what inspired NWA to create the music they made.

I thought the acting and directing was excellent. I am glad this movie was made, the story needed to be told. Warning the language is a little brash. I hope people will enjoy it, as much as I did.

I've been a fan of NWA since I first heard Straight out of Compton. Coming from NYC, at that time being a fan of music from anywhere other than the 5 boroughs wasn't that popular. The movie did a good job telling the overall story, although purists will say that certain important parts were left out or minimized (for example, Michel'le and her contribution).

Straight Outta Compton I grew up in the era of NWA BUT I was a kid when the group took off but my brother Gary was a huge fan. So when I got the Blu-ray it came with the DVD copy so I gave that to my brother so he could watch it as well. Now I'm not a huge rap fan but I did enjoy the creation of NWA and the rap game. I really liked this movie and I think you might too.

This movie is one of those that has great music AND a great plot! Tells the early history of one of the hottest rap groups of the 80's. If you love rap, here's a great movie for your collection.

Watching Straight of Compton brought back so many memories. I grew up listening to NWA. In any case, the movie is very moving and informative. Its a definite 'must own' flick for your collection.

Always been a fan but never knew how deep the struggle was after watching this movie. Left out a lot of important parts of history but good enough.

Purchased the movie to relive the start of "Gangsta Rap." After finishing the flick Ian already excited for Part II - Death Row records. If you are a fan of Hip Hop you need to watch this movie.

Great Steelbook Package. This tells the story of talented kids from South Central, who changed the music world!! NWA!!!

Great film about the rise of some of the most influential figures in Hip-Hop history. Very cool to see the story having been part of that generation as their music is what I grew up with.

Straight Outta Compton, to me,is the Best movie of 2015. I went to the movie theater to see it and I had to buy when it came out. Best Buy had the best deal for the movie plus the great t-shirt.

This movie was awesome! It gives you the history of the group and of the music, it also gives you insight on what's taking place to this day had how times have changed but some people haven't...

Having been someone who grew up listening to NWA from the beginning, it's really interesting to see how the group came together and all of temple things they faced. Great movie for hip hop fans.
