Finally they released this movie on blue ray/DVD. Definitely a must add to the hip hop collection of movies. I rate this movie up there with Juice, Boyz in the hood and Poetic Justice.

I have never bought a pre release until now , I didn't even have to leave to get this one , showed up at my door the day it came out in stores.. Great movie by the way it's a must have

This movie actually wasn't bad the acting was pretty good. The sound track was awesome. They could of got another actor to play Sug. But over not a bad Docu/Movie.

I grew up listening to ice cube and when this movie came out I had to have it! Brought back a lot of memories and it’s a great story!

Great movie for fans of the music. If you're not a fan of the music, the film is still a great human story. Guys that grew up together, making their lives better is an inspiration.

I usually am skeptical about movies that do documentaries of hip hop artists, but this one seems to deliver. Although a lengthy film, it keeps you involved throughout the entire film.

Although I feel it stops a bit short on the historical part of the group's members & foundations, the film is indeed mainly fair and thorough about the original roots and formation of NWA. I felt as if I was re-living the early 90s part of life. Excellent value for the price! Buy yours now, including DIGITAL DOWNLOAD copy.

This movie is the truth. I feel like I was part of everything they experienced. So real. Definitely not a movie for kids so viewer discretion is advised. Great actors and great music

I have watched this movie four times before purchasing. Its a great part of history & shows the development of how people can strive for the best, when putting their mind to a goal.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE BECAUSE I GREW UP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HISTORY BEHIND THIS MOVIE.. ICE CUBE & DR. DRE SON'S DID A WONDERFUL JOB PERTRIAING THERE FATHER'S IN THERE YOUTH.

Now I know the story. It was great those guy worked there butt off . This is a keeper a must have in your collection. And don't forget F×$!!!/ the police stayed in my head for days.

This is a great movie, especially for all NWA fans. If you love west coast rap, you will love this movie. It also shows how long police brutally, with minorities, has been going on.

I really enjoyed the movie. I feel it depicted NWA's story from a very fair perspective. It was an engaging film and kept our attention fully froM start to end. I really enjoyed it.

This movie a truly great...the casting, the script, and the acting especially was spot in. The bluray special features are also great with interviews and behind the scenes features.

I could type a book worth saying how great this movie is, and that still wouldn't do it justice. If you consider yourself even remotely interested in hip hop, this is a must watch.

Straight Out of Compton is a memoir that all rap fans must see. Fueled with outrage, N.W.A. sets out on a mission to show the world what they are talking about. It's a great movie.

The movie was great it kept your attention, choosing to cast some of the Children of the members of NWA to portray their parents was great. It was like watching NWA all over again.

I have known about the rap group NWA however I never knew their real story. I surely did not know how talented each of them is. This movie deserved an Oscar for acting and content

This was a really good movie, after i watched it the first day, i wanted to watch it again. If i knew this movie was so good i would have purchased it the first day it came out!!!

In the interest of full disclosure I was a huge NWA fan. That said, this really was one of the better films of 2015... Much better that half or more of the Best Picture nominee's.
