Great movie for people who are fans of late 80s or early 90s hip hop. The film has a great cast, characters were relatable and overall a great film worth purchasing.

I grew up in the 80's and was a huge NWA. I saw this in the theatre and had to own the movie. very well done and not corny or poorly produce like some hip hop films.

A very cool background story about a band that has a very unique place in music history.there music is so catchy and awesome that this fills in the lead up to it.

This is officially one of my favorite movies of all times. It was well cast, well acted, and well directed. Worth watching at least once. You won't be disappointed.

I was a kid when this story took place so it was interesting to see how this story unfolded. I would highly recommend this movie if you are a lover of hip hop/rap.

Reminded me of the good old days when music was fresh, creative and real. Took me back to my childhood when west coast rap was starting to emerge. Excellent film!

I enjoyed Straight Outta Compton at the theatres. The fact that BestBuy was selling it with a free T-Shirt made it easy for me to purchase this title through them.

Awesome! Is one way to describe it, goes far enough in depth to tell the history of the group and really leaves no questions unanswered for the story it's telling!

This was a very good movie, that really lays out the background for the rise of NWA, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, etc. Even if you don't like rap music this is worth seeing.

Excellent Movie with awesome acting from Ice Cube's son. Nice insightful look into the lives of these artists who forever changed the hip-hop scene.

I loved this movie. It showed what life was like in Compton during that specific time era. I watched it over and over. Definitely recommend this movie to everyone.

I don't listen to Rap but this film was amazing. A great chronology of the history of early Rap. F Gary Gray's best film since The Negotiator.

This movie was hands down one of the best movies I've seen in quite some time. Love it and I recommend this to all (18 years and older of course). Very inspiring.

This movie was intense. Good songs, ,great actors as well as great performance from everyone! Should watch around adults only tho, language can be a little vulgur

This was a fantastic movie which might provide an opportunity for young people who were not around during this time to understand how this great group was formed.

If you are an NWA fan, this movie is a must see. I grew up on these original gansta rappers in the 80's. This movie shows there beginnings.

Film provides interesting insight on what was once known as "the world's most dangerous group" that changed the face of hip-hop forever

This was a great depiction of how NWA got started, and also how they inspired an industry of music. A little Hollywood style comes through, but the story stays true to how things happened within the group. Between Easy-E, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and all the other members of the group, it becomes and great story to tell.

If you in to this type of movies, this is one movie you want to watch. Movies that are base on true life events are always good, I definitely recommend to watch.
