Interesting story behind the influential rap group NWA (how they were formed, how they exploded onto the West Coast rap scene, and how they broke up). Never really listened to the music growing up, but I found the story involving. Trivia fact: Ice Cube's real life son plays his father in the film!

Saw it theaters and have had my eye on the bluray when it came out. After the excellent deals for Black Friday I finally bought it! Great movie!

I grew up during the time frame this movie takes place and it really brought back so memories. Songs and artist seem to always do that. Reccomended.

The saga of N.W.A. finally gets the movie treatment. Done quite well, I only wished it would have shown Dr. Dre as a more complete person (his darker side, e.g. his many legal issues with beating women) and an actual side story about MC Ren, instead of him being the wallpaper character in this movie.

Straight out of Compton is real, brothers made it big. RIP Easy E..

The acting was better than I thought. I remember when they 1st came out and this filled all the behind the scenes of the stories I use to hear about.

Music Reminded me of the Events of the time period. The price of the bluray/dvd stayed un-affordable for a while. Reasonable pricing please!!

I usually fall asleep during movies if I watch them at night time. But, this movie kept me engaged for the 2.5 hours or so that it lasted. Recommend!

Great movie about the gangster rap scene in the 90’s. One of my favorite rap groups of the time.

I love rap music, I grew up on NWA. So I was predisposed to loving this movie but it was even better than I expected. Wonderful acting and direction.

This and the 2 pac movie were good. Not the best and missed a lot of stuff but i also learned new things i didnt know. over all good.

Definitely worth a watch even if not a fan of the music. For historical clarity and perspective alteration, very worthwhile movie. UV included.
