Was kind of skeptical at first, but this movie really delivers and tells an awesome story about the roots of Gangster Rap. This is a must see.

Grew up on this music and thought I knew most of the history behind NWA, Cube, Dre, but this movie put everything into perspective. GREAT Movie!!

very interesting movie....based on true events....a good movie overall if you can get a rental or borrow a copy but wouldn't recommend buying it.

I have been a west coast rapper (gangsta rap) fan for years. This movie should have been made prior to the death of E-Z. But better late than never.

...then this is a must own. The second half of the movie is a little slower than the first, but overall it's a great way to spend a couple of hours.

Straight Outta Compton is the best hiphop biopic. Details every member of NWA accurately and contains strong performances, visuals and musical sets.

A great story about young men growing up in Compton California and beating the odds to not only educate their followers buy also make music history.

Based on NWA's recording and beginning, is a great flick for music lovers to learn and have an understanding of how they came to be!! Great movie!!

These actors did an amazing job. The story is so crazy and intense. You really take the ride with them through all the turmoil they went through.

Great acting and background music. The music and main character clothing, really took me bad to the time period where music had social commentary.

This movie took me back to the 80s and 90s of hip hop rap and had me re live the NWA era and had great storytelling,acting and pacing. Recommended.

I grew up in the NWA Era and remember alot of what hapoened. It was a great flashback and also to see what I didn't know happened behind the scenes

It is definitely the type that keeps you interested to the end which is why i had to get a copy to add to my collection, its a great movie!!
