I was tired of my cable bill going up, so I decided to sign up for DirecTV Now. I had to get the Roku stick in order to be able to use the service. I got the Stick + because it was for the tv in my bedroom, which is pretty far away from the wifi tower. So far I've had it for about a week and it works great!

We needed something to allow us to watch TV in another room and a friend recommended this Roku stick. We weren't going to get it since we thought it worked only for movies, but then we figured out how to watch real TV on it! Then we noticed that we didn't actually need cable to watch it on our other TV, so we are now saving money by getting rid of cable! This is a great buy.

The Roku Streaming Stick Plus provides extra apps for our Sony TV. Hooked it up using the television's USB port for power. Wifi and 4K HDR @ 60 fps were recognized, bringing brilliant images to the screen. Interface and remote control are simple to navigate. This Roku is the perfect compliment to a 4k TV!

We've had Amazon Prime for years because of the free shipping feature, but I had not linked it to our home A/V system. During the pandemic, we were looking to enlarge our movie supply, and bought the Roku Streaming Stick+. Setting up the Roku stick on the web and plugging the stick into my Panasonic plasma monitor was easy. It also turned out that the USB port did not supply enough power to the stick, but Roku had thoughtfully included a USB extender cable and plug, which was long enough to reach an outlet. (My system is set up so the inputs enter via the monitor, with the sound then proceeding to my receiver and from there to the speakers.) After a lot of trial and error, I turned on the monitor only, changed the input from HDMI 1(cable box) to HDMI 3 (Roku stick) and voila! Setting up the channels and navigating among them is easy. We immediately watched an Amazon Prime movie. Good video, but the actors occasionally swallowed their words or were overwhelmed by the soundtrack. It took considerable trial and error to set up the closed captioning (or subtitles) - this had to be done on the Amazon website. (Be warned, the volume control and mute button are almost invisible on the SIDE of the Roku remote, and it's too easy to turn the sound off.) Now all is well, and I'll add our Netflix subscription next. I'm now about to transfer the control to my universal remote. I'm assuming this will not be as simple as it should be, but I'm willing to be surprised. In all, I'm happy with the product. The product is five-star; the setup would be improved with a more thorough installation guide.

This is my third Roku Streaming stick. I have two older "not so smart" TV's, so this was a much more economic way to bring them up to date. The third was for my son, who was also in the same boat. We are enjoying them so much we're considering cutting our cable.

Have a older LCD TV that is not a “Smart TV”. Purchased the ROKU stick so we could watch Netflix. The The ROKU stick was easy to set up and allowed access to much more content that I expected. I’m now considering cancelling my satellite subscription.

I love it. Super simple set up. Easy for the whole family to use. I love how I can use the Apple TV app to access all of the shows and movies I bought on iTunes at 1/3 of the cost of an Apple TV. Will buy several more for the rest of the TVs in the house.

I installed a TV in my detached garage which is probably 20 feet away from the house where my wifi signal is. I'm streaming Xfinity TV through the xfinity app on Roku and all the channels work perfectly. No cable wires no cable box needed. Great product!

Our year old tv had a software problem which we didn't know about . We recently installed fiber optics and the wifi wasn't recognized by this tv. We circumvented problem by purchasing this Roku device which connected with the wifi. Worked great and easy to install/set up.

This was a Christmas gift for my son and his wife. He was not familiar with streaming devices and did not seem to enjoy the gift. After installation his opinion changed. He purchased additional streamers for his other televisions. He enjoyed the ease of installation and variety of programming.

We have been using our older Roku for five years or more. We decided it was time for an upgrade and I'm so glad we did. I love the streamlined remote with volume control. The stick does 4k and connects much faster than our older version. If you're considering upgrading, do it! The new versions are much better!

A great way to add smart TV apps to an older TV very easy to use and set up

I had thought about buying the Roku for a long time. I put it off thinking it was an unnecessary purchase. Now, I'm wondering how I ever lived without it. It was easy to install and has great range. There are just so many viewing options. I love it!

Don’t know why I waited so long to switch to roku. This thing is awesome and no cable bill makes it even awesomer!!

I've always loved the Roku especially since it first came out. I first bought the Fire stick but there was so much lagging it drove me nuts. So I went back to the Roku and have not been disappointed at all. I especially love that the power and volume for the tv is on the Roku remote!

Great quality easy installation and easy to use especially with voice control

The Roku is perfect for my sunroom. I use it with an older projector to watch movies and television on the wall. Because it is in the sunroom, we mainly watch at night which is perfect. The Roku was easy to install and easy to use. It is a perfect fit for us.

Got a regular version of roku for my living room, but got this one when it was on sale for my bedroom. The volume and power feature come in handy, only have to use one remote to work the tv. And the voice feature is nice for when I'm lazy to type out a search.

Great product for streaming with no hitch from install to viewing. This is an ideal choice for anyone who either has no available plug for an additional powered item. This plugs into your modern TV with an HDMI and USB ports. This is thereafter self powering through the USB, out of sight, works great.

We ditched Spectrum and AT&T for TV. Streaming youtube TV and other apps using Roku TVs and these streaming sticks. No complaints. They work great, are very reliable, and I get a better picture streaming with these then through the internet input on my older TV.
