I purchased this to cut my ties with the satellite company. I was able to subscribe to a service that gave me the channels I liked for 1/3 the cost. The added free channels are a plus.

Great way to lower cable bill.

You can download the cable app on the roku, and save yourself between 10-15 bucks a month depending on the type of "box" you have. Easy to use and move from tv to tv.

And it eliminates that cheap little jumper cable box that cost me $5 a month. Cant sanyo to something that's going to preform better and cost less than what I have already.

It has every app you can think of from Disney+ to Hulu and YouTube. Easy to set up and user friendly for everyone.

Good way to add HBO max to your smart tv

I now use the roku as my tv remote and navigation for streaming instead of the smart tv apps.

Good but Poor Engineering

It requires an extender cable to prevent overheating. It needs a high WiFi bandwidth to prevent dropouts.It must operate at Wifi 5 not 2.4 due to dropout issues. Then again when it is working it is an excellent product. Finally, published specifications need a rewrite.

New life for old TV without using cable!

It was easy to set up my older Sanyo and is a good solution for us! Great product!

They are so easy to setup and use. I'm surprised when I tell work friends about them and they don't know what they are. I explain the Roku to them. They are my go to streaming device.

Best Purchase I've Made

Works like a charm, and it's still new considering it's been almost a year of constant use! Was tough at first for me to figure everything out but it's so worth it!

It’s about the same Apple TV, but the price is far a way, especially with amazing audio! Doesn’t need sound bars anymore! Thank you

Love this little guy!

The remote is great, especially because it has volume buttons on the side! It’s quicker than the apps on the tv which is nice, too.

It is very responsive. Because of it's small size, I plan to bring it with me when I travel to plug into the hotel TV and connect to the hotel WiFi. I highly recommend this product.

Magic Stick

The number if streaming apps available are mind blowing. I bought this so that I could watch my Xfinity Stream, it is currently the only device supporting it and it worked like a champ.

Full Roku Convert

I used to be a Fire TV person until getting one of these a couple of Christmases ago as a gift. I've fully converted every tv, even smart tvs to Roku. Easy to use and snappy. no regrets.

Great Cable box Replacement

Awesome streaming device for the price!

So far, we use it for DirecTV Now and love it. The controls are mostly intuitive, but we still struggle on figuring out some things. For a 4K device, the price can't be beat!
