Having experienced issues with streaming quality on our TV, we purchased the Roku device and had it installed. It has definitely improved our experience in watching programs without encountering disruptions--made watching more enjoyable.

I bought this as a replacement for a much older Roku Streaming Stick (3500X). My old Roku wireless connection was extremely slow (I rarely saw more then 6 Mbps download as tested by Roku) as it used old WiFi to connect. The new Roku stick uses the newest WiFi standard and I get 50+ Mbps for my download speeds. This has made for a much snappier experience when moving between streaming services and programs. With YouTube I have noticed the video streams now all run at maximum resolution and does not downgrade the resolution because of poor connection. Beyond that I have not noticed anything different with Roku. I have not used the voice search feature as it does not interest me, but I will probably play with it later.

I purchased this for an old TV I had just sitting and collecting dust. Set it up in our bedroom and now we have access to all our shows and live TV without the hassle of additional wiring or cords. I highly recommend.

Bought 3 of these when I made the move from DirecTV to FuboTV. Like that it isn't tied to any one brand (i.e. Amazon, Google, etc.) like some of the other streaming sticks. Easy to setup, easy to use.

Roku stick is the best way that I’ve found to get my customers acclimated to the world of streaming video. The Roku remote is also an awesome product, very easy to learn to use and very easy to teach customers to use!

Works well -- has some apps available that I wanted that were not an option on a Fire stick. Remote took a little getting used to but once you figure it out it is simple. Like that the remote has TV on/off button and volume buttons.

This Roku stick is great for anyone who wants to cut cable and stream. I purchased this stick to stream Xfinity. This is the only stick out there that is able to stream Xfinity. I recommend to anyone who wants to make their TVs a smart TV.

I replaced an older Roku with this and wanted a portable version. It works very fast and I haven't had any issues with it so far on the Wifi. It does have a stronger receiver once it's powered and that is what I needed where I put it in the house.

This Roku stick was the best option for me since I don’t care about Voice command. It is a great plug and play option and gives me access to streaming service apps that I can get on my smart tv.

We were looking to move away from the expense of satellite tv, and the Roku is perfect. We use it with YouTubeTV, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Disney+. Easy to set up, and couldn't be more happy with it.

Th Roku works great with my 1st generated (15 years old) plasma TV that is without internet. It also works great to stream live TV through my Xfinity subscription. It does away with the need for a cable box which saves precious counsel space. Right on.

Bought this Roku for a "smart tv" because it is a Sony so most of my apps won't work because I have Comcast/Xfinity and they don't have agreements with Sony/Google so my smart tv needed a Roku stick. I use Roku on all my other tvs & love them all.

Love the Roku, better than a Firestick and less expensive. I have had a Firestick in the past and glad I switched to the Roku. It is more user friendly with more readily available apps, easier to use.

After putting up with my Sony Bravia TV's rotten selection of streaming apps, the Roku Streaming Stick+ is a godsend. Easy to install, great selection of apps, great performance and great price.

I had a fire stick and didn't like it for a number of options. I bought this Roku for myself for Christmas and I'm so happy I did. I don't have cable and it has so many free programs and has made my non smart TV very functional.

This works very well. The Roku is easy to set up and start. It actually is better than the fire stick that I have on another tv. I definitely recommend this over the Fire Stick. Voice recognition is accurate.

I had a Roku 2 XD for almost 10 years and it was fantastic, but it seemed to slow down over the last couple of years, e.g. trouble loading channels, lots of buffering, etc. Based on recommendations from the Roku forum, I upgraded to the Streaming Stick+ when it was on sale. It is so much faster than the 2 XD and makes great use of my router's 802.11ac wireless connectivity. I haven't tried 4K video yet so I don't know how well that works, but that's a minor concern as I would need a giant 4K TV in the first place to appreciate definition that high. The ONLY issue I have(had) with it is that it has to plug into an HDMI port on my TV, and there is minimal space for things to plug into those ports. The Roku instructions say in this case to order an HDMI extension cable from them for free. I mean, that's not terrible, but why not include that in the box? Instead I had to submit an order for that online and wait a week for it to show up. First world problems, but still resulted in me not being able to use the product right out of the box.

Unfortunately the stick doesn't fit well into our TV - it's an outdoor TV so it has back that opens - and it won't close when the stick is in. Roku does offer to send a free extender - but the extender was so short that it wasn't much help! But we were able to cram it into place and get the back shut. Roku itself is great - easy to use, what you'd expect.

The ROKU Streaming Stick+ is a good cable cutting option - way to set up, easy to program to your app needs. Takes a little time to figure out the 3 basic screen modes - not difficult, but not explained. Having some issues with it connecting consistently upon startup - still analyzing if its an internet or ROKU issue. Overall, happy with the purchase.
