I replaced an older Roku with this and wanted a portable version. It works very fast and I haven't had any issues with it so far on the Wifi. It does have a stronger receiver once it's powered and that is what I needed where I put it in the house.

This stick is actually an upgrade. It works so much better than my basic one. Pictures is clearer and sound good. With my other one the mouth and words did not match but that’s no longer a problem.

The ROKU Streaming Stick+ is a good cable cutting option - way to set up, easy to program to your app needs. Takes a little time to figure out the 3 basic screen modes - not difficult, but not explained. Having some issues with it connecting consistently upon startup - still analyzing if its an internet or ROKU issue. Overall, happy with the purchase.

Love Roku. Good little device! Plays everything I throw at it and works with my home automation system! Plus it is nice to be able to listen to a show from my phone so my wife doesn't have to hear.

Installation was easy. This is my third Roku. It allows you to watch more free programming . It came with a promotion for two months of Philo which was a fantastic promotion, actually covered the cost of the Roku.

Bought this Roku for a "smart tv" because it is a Sony so most of my apps won't work because I have Comcast/Xfinity and they don't have agreements with Sony/Google so my smart tv needed a Roku stick. I use Roku on all my other tvs & love them all.

Th Roku works great with my 1st generated (15 years old) plasma TV that is without internet. It also works great to stream live TV through my Xfinity subscription. It does away with the need for a cable box which saves precious counsel space. Right on.

I had a Roku 2 XD for almost 10 years and it was fantastic, but it seemed to slow down over the last couple of years, e.g. trouble loading channels, lots of buffering, etc. Based on recommendations from the Roku forum, I upgraded to the Streaming Stick+ when it was on sale. It is so much faster than the 2 XD and makes great use of my router's 802.11ac wireless connectivity. I haven't tried 4K video yet so I don't know how well that works, but that's a minor concern as I would need a giant 4K TV in the first place to appreciate definition that high. The ONLY issue I have(had) with it is that it has to plug into an HDMI port on my TV, and there is minimal space for things to plug into those ports. The Roku instructions say in this case to order an HDMI extension cable from them for free. I mean, that's not terrible, but why not include that in the box? Instead I had to submit an order for that online and wait a week for it to show up. First world problems, but still resulted in me not being able to use the product right out of the box.

This works easier than we anticipated. We had a google home and would stream our Netflix they our phones to the tv and it kept dropping the show. We should have gotten this a long time ago!

This is an easy fix to get apps that aren’t included on your TV. It’s very easy to use, and can be unplugged to use on multiple TVs. After exiting Roku and returning to cable, the volume doesn’t work. I have to unplug to reset in order to adjust volume. Not sure if it’s the TV’s issue or not. Otherwise works great!

This Roku streaming stick + works so good that I already bought 3 of them for friends and family and I will order another one. Highly recommended for streaming your favorites programs and apps.

It was easy installing and getting started with my Roku device and it works perfectly for basic operations. It has been very frustrating for any operation other than start/pause/up/down. I’ve had to repeatedly use Google sites (often not Roku) to get things done with the 8 (I’m being kind) “functioning” buttons on the remote. Not sure I’d buy this again.

We love our new Roku sticks. They are very easy to use and come with tons of extra content. They also help keep all our different streaming services all in one place so we don't have to jump around the TV to use all the apps.

Bought this because my old ROKU stick was over 5 years old and starting to struggle a bit with streaming content. This one upgrades to 4K and double the wifi connection speed. A significant upgrade for little investment!

Love the Roku stick. Roku's on line support was spot on when I had remote issues. Resolved immediately. I have one TV on cable and my second tv with Roku. Its a great streaming device. Definitely worth it.

Be careful, it doesn't work with all TVs. I could have bought the cheaper one since the additional features don't work anyway, but I love Roku! I cancelled my cable and just went with this. My only other complaint is the sticks not networking or linking through my account. I had to log into each app individually on each TV, so setup took some time...but worth the savings!!

Great product, started replacing my Fire TV sticks with ROKU. Wife loves the HOT key buttons at the bottom. TV volume/power control is a must. Not a huge fan of the home splash screen, but it is decent.

Works Great, very satisficed with the purchase. I am not putting this on a 4k TV, but still bought this one, because on reputable online website rated it as the best streaming device on the market. It also has a better antennae, with longer range, than the more basic Roku. And the menu is pretty snappy. The remote is very sensitive, however. I'm always accidentally muting the TV by rubbing against the remote. And don't sleep with the remote, I did one night, and a button must have gotten pressed down under a pillow, as the brand new energizer batteries were all used up.

Roku sticks are here to help and save us from huge cable bills. Thank you yo whoever thought of this! Now we just need to figure out how to get rid of cords and go wireless for everything!!!

Best stick ever. It has all the apps and works really well. It is super fast. It doesn't have a remote headset, that makes the remote lighter. It works with xfinity app to replace a x1 device. It is worth its value.
