Roku provides an interface with your apps nicely clustered in one area; whereas Firestick promotes Amazon products and clutters the interface, Roku is polished. The remote is a well-organized set of buttons that will instantly change the input on your tv just by clicking the home button or the other buttons dedicated to Hulu, Netflix, etc.. No need to change the input on your master remote. I've used Roku and Firestick. While, I like both, I would choose Roku without hesitation.

Owned an old Roku device and had to get a new one as some apps would no longer support that model. The new Roku stick is great especially since you now need only the Roku remote to control everything including on/off and volume. No more dealing with 2 remotes - perfect! Also, it was very easy to set up and start streaming.

Works as well as my Apple TV 4K at less than one third the cost and is much more user friendly and intuitive. To be fair, the Apple is more robustly constructed, being metal and glossy plastic, and the Roku voice remote feature isn’t as good, but the Apple ought to be better in those respects for the price. Roku is pretty solid in all other respects. This one was the latest purchased as I have purchased 3 others in the last couple months. Wish I knew how good it was before I spent the money on the Apple.

I recently cut the cord and rely on the roku for getting all of the television that I watch. This is by far the best quality streaming stick available. It has access to a ton of streaming services and it is great quality. I tried the fire stick and it just did not have the processing power that this one has. Live television skipped a lot and it did not work for what I wanted. I love my roku and I love how I just have to plug it in to the hdmi and I am good to go. It is so easy to set up and I am so happy with the product.

Definitely a great purchase! at the time i just had a simple desktop monitor and this made all the difference

Great product, have three different types of Roku devices, and this is the easiest most compact on the market. However if you are using a monitor make sure the device has enough room to fit in the HDMI slot. I bought it for my second monitor to stream MLB games but found the the contour of the back of monitor wouldn’t allow it to fit. Like I said I have three, so a quick swap with the living room roku and al set.

Any streaming app you want, easy navigation and setup. Great picture quality. Recently upgraded to the 4k and loving it.

TBH, I never used a different streaming device other than Roku, so my opinion can't help but be biased. That said, I never felt a need to switch because Roku is so easy to use and has delivered the goods! This unit, in particular, is impressive. I get Prime, Netflix, and Hulu perfectly and the controls on the remote are easier than the ones on my TV remote. I'm satisfied. I'm good. Your turn.

I will probably buy one more of these. They are a great option if your TV is not Roku

Love Roku. It’s easy to use and setup. Have added them to old tv’s and new smart tv’s alike just for the apps

The Roku Streaming Stick+ is simply awesome. It's super easy to set up, it's powered by your TV, and the signal booster that is built in to the USB cable ensures a strong wireless connection. This thing attaches entirely to the backside of your TV and is completely out of sight once it's installed. I bought this for use with a bedroom TV because I didn't want any unnecessary electronics cluttering up the room, and I couldn't be happier.

I've had this streaming stick for several months now and I'm pleased with it. I love the Roku platform, and this stick is quick and responsive. The apps offered, in my opinion, are better than those offered on a Fire Stick. Though most are available on both, there are some that are available on Roku that are not on the Fire Stick. The basic tv controls included on this remote are a nice added bonus as well. I would absolutely order another one.

The Roku streaming stick with 4K and voice commands worked well with my Roku TV. Feels studier than the original one that came with the TV. In addition, the original one did not have the above features. The original remote worked on IR transmission to operate the TV. You have to aim it at the TV to make it work. The new one I purchased works on RF signals and does not require it to look at the TV to operate. Very happy with the purchase.

It's so user friendly, the picture quality is great, and jumping between apps and content is so fast!

We were having problems with the Amazon Firestick reception signal and it was suggested that the Roku would have a stronger signal. Well the Best Buy guy was right. We haven't had a buffering problem at all and the signal, which was always buffering, is now a clear and strong reception signal. It is even cheaper than the Firestick by about $20.00 depending upon which one you buy. We just got their 4K/HD/HDR model and we've been very pleased.

Bought this model to replace an older version that had gotten real slow. Best purchase I have made since I purchased my Tivo Roamio. This Roku loads movies very fast and the voice control on the remote makes it really easy to find something and what channel it's on. Roku now has hundreds of channels so your choices are unlimited. Great product and better yet I got it when it was on sale. If I ever get a 4K TV I will be all ready to go with that too.
