Used to use Chromecast but having a remote makes streaming a lot easier. Very good wifi connection.

There are a lot of things that I buy from Best Buy, but this could be the best! Love all the channels it has. The 4k picture is wonderful and audio is great. Simple to set up and use. Much more versatile than the Amazon Fire sticks that lock to their Prime system. Definitely worth your money!

I've been using Roku for the past couple years now and they've been great. I even use Roku on my smart tvs just for the ease of use. Most, if not all of the popular streaming apps are available and streams w/no issues and love the little remote as well.

I bought this for my secondary TV because the previous streaming device I had on it (a PS3) was becoming hopelessly obsolete. I previously bought a Fire Stick 4K for my main system, so this would be a chance to compare the two. The Roku works very well, and I checked out the 4K, the Dolby Audio formats, and they worked fine. I use the Xfinity Beta Stream app on the secondary system and it works just like having another Xfinity X1 box without actually having one there. There are a lot more apps for the Roku than for the Fire TV 4K, but most of them are kind of worthless. Some don't actually work. I like the way Roku changes the wallpaper for special occasions like New Years and the holidays. I think it is a great purchase and can be moved easily or taken on trips as needed.

Bought this for my mom who is always on Netflix. I signed her in on my Xfinity Stream account, Amazon, and Sling, so she's never bored. Easy to navigate through, easy set up and even connects the little remote to her TV, so she doesn't have hold several remotes at once.

My SONY SMART TV wasn't quite smart enough to pick up You Tube TV and I wasn't about to spend $2K plus to replace it so I thought I'd try the streaming stick. Ease of use, picture quality, and anything else you can name make it as easy to use as my Samsung Q50. Excellent buy regardless of the low cost.

This device is great for cable cutters. Got this for mom in law who did not have a smart TV but wanted to get web based programming. Plugged the Roku into an HDMI port and follow the command prompts. Within a few minutes, success! The remote can also function as a remote for the TV. That’s an added convenience.

Although the installation is a bit involved, the Roku Streaming Stick is performing very well without any issues. The picture and sound transmitted is excellent and new Apps are easy to install & access. The Roku platform is vastly superior to the SmartCast platform. I highly recommend this Streaming Stick!

The Riki streaming stick was very easy to set-up and use over a couple of different make and model TV’s. It has worked as advertised for us.

After 10 days, still pretty happy with this purchase. It is very compact and tucks nicely behind the screen. Roku OS is definitely one of the better streaming system and I love the remote. The only thing to keep in mind is while you can run this without the AC wall wart (connected only to the TV’s USB) you have to wait for it to boot up whenever turning the TV on. If you use the wall adapter, it pretty much stays ready to go.

Roku's interface is second-to-none -- it's easy to establish your favorites, and search for the wealth of content available, much of which is free (though most requiring you to enroll with various sites). The voice command features are a nice addition, but are still not on par with Amazon's offerings -- hopefully an area Roku will improve in the future. But as far as accessibility, content, speed, and function, this is an excellent unit; with only upgrading from here a consideration if you need a dedicated connected Ethernet to power your device/streaming.

This is my second Roku stick. The Roku interface is very simple and easy to use and offers the most apps/services. Simply plug it in and connect to Wifi and you are ready to go. The remote is a big plus--no need to have your phone in hand (with its other distractions) to use like with Chromecast, etc.

Have only been playing with for a month or so now but very easy to set up and navigate - great free channel options and simple interface to paid service like hulu, netflix, etc. I think I will get one for each TV I have that is not a smart tv to be able to use this. Eventually want to cut the cable cord and use this with internet only.

We have purchased the Roku streaming stick for all of our Tv's since cutting the cord. We find this product a good price point for the features we seek in a streaming device. It is simple and intuitive and works well with the various brand of TV's we own. I would purchase this product again.

I have them all (Chromecast, FireTV, Roku). But I keep going back to Roku since it has the most apps out of them all. Looks great in 4K. Still the only device right now that can play DC Universe. Titans alone is worth it. Anyway, stick with Roku, you won't regret it. Great remote, fast UI, tons of apps, nice customer support via Twitter.

My husband wanted this upgraded Roku stick and I wasn't sure it would be worth the switch, but it definitely was. The streaming in faster, they offer more options and it is so nice to have power and volume on the remote. Have one remote is so nice.

Excellent for streaming, no lagging, very compact and slick

I’m new to the roku world so wasn’t sure what to expect but pleasantly surprised by the channels offered and the quality of the signal.

I originally used the Roku on a 55 inch plasma smart TV as you couldn't update the software on the set. The Roku brought the old set into the 21st century. Well, the old set died and we replaced it with a Sony x900f 65 inch. We are still using the Roku though as it produces a better and more consistent picture than Sony's smart system. I would have given the Roku 5 stars but it overheats when watching 5k shows. I think we have solved that problem using an HDMI extender so the Roku stick is not directly connected to the set.

Click and it responds quickly. All the major streaming services and more. I use voice commands to navigate around the apps. This is now my go-to device to watch programs. Set was easy and adding whatever you like to watch is a click away.
