We just got back from vacation though and found the Roku TV that was provided at our Airbnb was amazing now that there is an Apple TV app. Decided to pick this up for something that is portable and easily carried in luggage on vacation in the future. The Roku does everything that you really need out of a device for smart TV functions and apps.

Solved the problem of renting a box, picking up and returning it. Works great, the only flaw is it voice control. Doesn't respond.

Possibly the batteries are not making a good connection. Not sure.
