I've used ROKU devices for several years now and I love them. The interface is easy to work with and understand, the quality of the device and the remote is great, and the availability of the channels is top notch. However, even though the box says "Thousands of Channels", that doesn't mean thousands of "good" channels. In the end, the only channels that wind up on my main screen are the standard Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. Another thing to consider is using the remote to control your TV. If you plug the ROKU stick into the HDMI on your TV, it can control channels, etc. but it cannot turn the TV on or off. In order to do that, the ROKU has to have its own power source; that is, it has to be plugged into the wall. If you're planning on using the ROKU to control TV volume, channels, etc. as well as the regular Netflix type content, you can just plug in the stick and go.

Very easy to install and use. Perfect for older TV’s that aren’t smart TV’s. Great picture quality and also controls the tv power and volume. Recommend this especially for secondary rooms where the more expensive models aren’t needed.

If you have a tv without “smart features” you need this. Even if you have a new smart tv, chances are this will be faster and your experience will be better than with the included smart features on your tv. Easy to setup, easy to use. Definitely recommended.

The Roku Streaming Stick plus 4K media player is fantastic for streaming and is an easy plug and play device. The setup was easy and after downloading the apps I wanted it was popcorn time! My advice is to be sure your TV has the proper ports to accommodate the device.

My 4th Ruko product in our household and one Amazon firestick. So easy set up. I love Ruko streaming devices! The Ultra model is set up in our family room. It's a must have streaming device for any homes who love's to watch movies!

Can't believe how easy this Roku Streaming Stick+ 4K is to set up and use! I will be buying more and will cut the cable cord, saving hundreds of dollars per year and getting EXACTLY the programming I want. No more cable infomercials to thumb through either!

Riku is great, easy to navigate, LOTS OF OPTIONS, very customizable, all menus are easy to view, set up is easy. It doesnt prioritize 1 streaming service over a nother it allows you to do that. Consistent updates keeps everything running good and new options. Good availability of free content. 4k!!!!

I debated between the Firestick and the Roku Streaming Stick, but I must say, I'm falling in love with the Roku. It has several free movies and tv shows available on the Roku channel. It is easy to switch between my antenna and the streaming channels. The added volume button on the side of the remote is a plus in my book. If you are looking to cut the cord, I'd suggest giving Roku a try.

I chose Roku because it has a better interface than Amazon's Fire Stick. Unlike the fire stick, Roku doesn't try to sell you anything, thus, keeping it's interface less convoluted. Plus, the remote fits so much better in your hand. All my TVs in the house have Roku.

We stream a lot of media - primarily through the Netflix and Plex apps - and previously used our XBox as the input to the TV. Very glad we decided to try out the Roku - it solved some persistent lag / buffering issues we were having, particularly with Plex.

Works great, I've had two different TVs since purchasing this and it's worked perfectly for both. No complaints, some of the apps have been a bit fussy like Crunchyroll but I think that was more with the app rather than the Roku.

The Roku Streaming stick was very quick and easy to set up. Basically you just plug it into your TV. There are various programs you get with Roku, but if you want more programming, you came connect online to others such as Sling. Very easy. Also, our picture quality improved!

Excellent product! Was easy to set up and has been working perfectly with our Samsung TV, which unfortunately did not include the streaming app we craved. The one deception: we now have 3 remotes required to seek entertainment (!)

I was skeptical about the wifi connectivity to/from this device but so far no issues. Im not using the stick on a 4K TV so I can't comment on that but streaming regular HD has been great. I use this device to access Xfinity on-demand and Plex. Works great!

This was the first Roku I purchased. I have since bought another one for another bedroom. I did have all three TV's hooked up to cable but found that I was only watching movies, etc on the ones in the bedrooms. I first tried the Roku on my bedroom tv and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it. I and even watch the news and my cable channels as it works off wifi. I bought another one for the tv in the guest room. And seems to be a hit with the grandkids and visiting family. I still have cable on the TV in the great room - for my sports addicted son-in-law. But am thinking seriously of going Roku on that one too. That just leaves me with a small monthly wifi bill!! Like it said, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!. Really do recommed it. I did research on it and the firestick as they are so similar but the Roku won out due to the "tech" excpert ratings. You won't be sorry!

These is my second Roku stick purchase and first 4K one. The speed and reliability difference from the reg stick is very noticeable and good. With the regular stick, I had overheating issues and buffering sometimes. With this one, never seen any of those problems!

I have two Samsung Smart TVs from 2015 and there were a bunch of apps that just weren't offered on their platform. I bought the Roku Streaming Stick+ and it's definitely been worth it. Every app and streaming platform you could want is on Roku's system. It's very sleek and easily transferred from my living room TV to my bedroom TV. The device is fast and has great connectivity; no diminishing video quality or lagging. The Roku remote with TV power and volume control means it's the only remote I need to use. The Roku app is great too because it allows you to use your phone as a remote (which is helpful when you can type things on your phone's keyboard instead of scrolling around with the remote) and it has a really cool feature: you can listen to your TV through any headphones connect to your phone. It's helpful when someone else is sleeping or on a call and you want to watch TV. Overall just a great device and value.

I bought this to take the place of the “smart part” of my LG TV. The LG tv was slow and “buffered” a lot. I have had great luck with a Roku stick on another TV and decided to give it a try. It works well. No more buffering and it’s easier to access the apps. Highly recommend.

My Roku streaming stick plus works great, we love how compact and no wires sticking out. I haven’t had any issues at all and it’s been flawless. I’m going to purchase one more for a total of three, we have cut the cord and do streaming tv, I invested a little money to save a lot.

Nice, sleek Roku. Does everything we want, and the remote is terrific. I love the quick buttons that take you straight to Netflix and popular apps. I also like the feature to speak a command. It makes things so fast and easy.
