4th Roku stick I have purchased - these are great and don’t take up any extra space - love it!

A week's use of the Roku Streaming Stick+ gave us the confidence to cut the cord and cancel our cable account (keeping the internet, of course!) Set up is simple and the interface easy to master. The voice search feature is a treat to use and the remote design is near perfect. The only thing better than this is Roku's Soundbar which includes the streaming functionality and adds terrific sound to your panel.

I purchased this so I could get rid of paying Spectrum for monthly equipment leases and just stream through their app with this device. The Roku has pretty much already paid for itself in just months of use!

Works great. Streaming services are way cheaper than cable or satellite services.

The best streaming device. I like it very much. I hope to buy another one for my other tv.

Roku is easy to use, gives us more control, and has reduced our cable bill. We're using Roku on all televisions now.

This unit was so easy to set up and use. We love all of the free apps and ease of navigation.

Pros: I love being able to plug the device into the USB port on my TV for power. Saves trying to hide another power cord or plug into a full strip. Love the remote doubles for controlling the TV and set up was easy. Didn't have to program the remote. Love having all Apps work in Roku and not having to go to the computer to complete purchases. Cons: There are a lot of things I don't like about the Roku and why I can't recommend it for others. I had to turn off the feature allowing the TV to automatically go to the Roku device from power-on status as my TV randomly would turn on. Even though I shut this off, my TV still does power on automatically and go to the Roku app. This is concerning to me, considering none of my other streaming devices have this feature weakness. The device also is super slow to start up. Typically have to wait half a minute to a minute for startup, whereas other streaming devices are ready to go upon power up. I absolutely hate the ads. Didn't know it had ads, as the box does not display this information clearly. The ads take up half the screen too, forcing critical choices in what apps appear on top or having to scroll. Considering all the apps Roku has, huge disappointment. Also, I paid for the device, so why do I have ads? Either give the device free or remove ads. I figured out how to block ads, so I will be doing that in the future so my device data stays a bit more private. The device also has random glitches. It will shut off for no reason. Streaming to the device can be a glitchy buffering nightmare, which is also not experienced on my other streaming devices. I definitely will not be purchasing another Roku in my future.
