Basic TV to Smart TV

Then I lost the tv remote, so I was looking for universal ones when this popped up. I always thought you needed cable to run anything like this, but turns out you just need internet!! This basically turned my old basic $150 tv into a smart tv for $50, I'm very happy with it.

Great streaming; but remote drains battery

Installed new batteries and it exhausted within 3 days with about 2 hrs of TV watching per day (so 6 hrs max). Contacted Roku customer support, and they said they will ship a new remote. Will see how that goes.
