Remote battery drains too fast

Power and volume button in remote is very convenient. There is an issue with the battery life of the remote. In 6 weeks of use, I had to replace them twice. Since this is over the returnable period of best buy, i need to find a way to resolve this or throw it out. BTW, I have few more roku units and they work like a charm. So, issue seem to be isolated to this unit.

If you are not using private listening with your remote and are still experiencing issues with battery drain, we'd like to recommend an alternative power solution that may help—if the USB cable from your Streaming Stick is currently connected to the USB port on your TV, please connect the USB cable directly to a wall outlet or power strip.
