Streaming sticks, the new cable box.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having several Amazon devices I thought I'd try a Roku to replace a dying first gen Fire stick that was connected directly to a projector. Easy setup, solid WiFi signal and responsive apps and menus. For me its primary function is to run the Sony PS VUE app and it does it very well. One difference I noticed is the tv guide menu. On all other devices the time of day is on the vertical axis and channel lineups are horizontal. Different but something that's grown on me. Roku has switched orientation back to the usual channel over time layout, its ok but I wish they provided an option to choose your preference.

3rd Roku for my patio

Since it's wireless, all I have to do is plug my TV in, and I get all my channels outdoors. The only knock I have about Roku's is I wish I could program the Netflix, Sling, Hulu buttons. I don't use any of them and would love to have single button to get to my services.
