I bought this for a wall mounted TV that I had been using a Roku Ultra with. I wanted a cleaner installation, so I got the streaming stick plus. Has most of the features of the Ultra ( no sd card expansion slot, however), in an unobtrusive package. It performs nearly as quickly as the ultra, only a side by side comparison showed the tiniest of difference in speed.

This is great for streaming! I have not searched for an app I needed and not been able to find it. Im not sure of its due to the location of mine (behind a mounted tv) but often get the overheating warning. I typically turn my fan on it to stop the issue. A bit of a nuisance, but my living can be hot at times. So it works out okay.

This stick is so much snappier than previous generations, and the setup was quick and easy. Would definitely recommend, mine powered just fine from the USB port on my TV.

I've had quite a few Roku units. This is the best one yet. I like that it has an on-off and mute switch. The performance and picture are noticeably better than previous units.

I have Apple TV, Amazon fire, roku exc - Apple cost to much but has more app options, Amazon fire picture quality isn’t as good as others and has to much advertising, Roku has awesome pic , awesome app selection, and easy interface

I needed something to integrate into a TV and the Roku player was perfect. I actually bought a new Google Chromecast with Google TV, but after using it for a few days, I returned it for the Roku instead. The Roku had a streaming service that was missing from the Google Chromecast. It was a better deal for me. It is a very simple interface which is easy to use. It has just about all of the streaming services you need. They also have their own streaming content as well. I will admit that its nice not to have Amazon or Google trying to shove their programming down your throat. Roku doesn't do that at all, just the basics in a simple to use device.

I got the Roku for my husband because we don't have cable channels and nobody could watch movies unless I was at home to stream them through my laptop! Well, now my husband can watch when HE wants. We are both happier with Roku because we can watch movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime (though there are many other channels accessible, some with subscriptions, some without) with no streaming interruptions. I chose the Roku over some of the other brands because it works well with our Samsung Smart TV and the reviews said it was easier to operate. Our experience is that setup is easy by plugging in the USB in your TV and using the included uncomplicated remote to follow the prompts. You can control volume and pause and fast forward from the remote, but we gave it 4 stars because that feature is a little sensitive and it is difficult to go backward and forward in play without overshooting the frame at which you wish to begin again. Note: You do not need to enter credit card info on setup when prompted. Instead, you can go to the website to bypass this prompt. If you want to use your TV to, say, shop on Amazon, you may want to enter your credit card info for ease of access.

Wanted one for my bedroom (already had one in the living room) so got one to turn tv on and off. Very easy to install on a tv prompts step by step, and you save money by doing away with a cable box in every room.

The Roku OS is very simple to use and has just about every app you can think of. With the exception of HDCP issues over HDMI, the device has worked well.

Have Roku on all our TVs we can watch all the shows that we can with the cable box. Easy to use and they even have one voice activated but we didn’t get that one. No problems with the ones we purchased. Good buy for the money.

Love this Roku- 4K streaming stick . Bought this to hook up to my newly upgraded 4K TV in my basement . Very easy to use - Streaming at it's best ; and of course voice remote is a PLUS!

I was very hesitant to buy Roku for the longest time because I already had a Chromecast. However, when Netflix came up with an interactive Black Mirror episode, Chromecast wasn't allowing me to watch this episode on it. In addition, I had a lot of buffering issues with some of the streaming apps on Chromecast, such as HBO Go and Hulu. I hesitantly made this purchase, but I was really surprised by how much of a difference Roku makes. It's worth the extra $15-20. The streaming is seamless, no buffering issues, very good quality video and sound, and lots of supported apps. Roku would also send you an additional HDMI extension wire for free (if you request it after you register the product). Great device and I'd definitely recommend this to anyone!

So far has been great. Very happy with easy set up, has buttons for the Apps I use the most, Netflix, Disney+ and Sling. I have an Apple TV and AirTV, so far this is my favorite.

Very easy to use and a priced well. I love that I can download the app on my phone and one feature of the app allows you to control the stick as well. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good speed. Simple interface. I like the Amazon Fire stick much better, but had to use Roku because cable company does not allow Amazon Fire for watching their TV service over internet.

Such a great device and so easy to use, my father loves it! i would never suggest getting the express this Roku streaming stick is the only way to go all the buttons on this remote its perfect!!

Extremely easy to install and use. I had no issues and it was easy to link online to the Roku account. I love the FREEDOM of being able to install any channel I like!!!I highly recommend it!!!

I LOVE ROKU. Took me forever to come around to streaming, but I'm in love with how easy ROKU is to setup and use. Everything looks amazing in 4k.
