Better than Apple TV

The best feature is the voice command which they both have but it is much more seamless on the Roku. Tell it what you want to watch and it shows the options for viewing whereas Apple makes you click through a bunch of screens and never actually opens the movie you asked for.

Saved the buffering from a “smart tv”

Got Roku and it saved the day. Now no lag when I watch Hulu. Just don’t like that you have to completely turn them off so it doesn’t continue to use data even tho the tv is off. Then it takes an extra minute to turn on when you turn the tv on, but it’s the only way to prevent it from continuing to use data, so you don’t go over your data plan. They should figure out a way to fix that as it gets frustrating, otherwise it works great.
