Start times and features are much improved over my earlier model box. Subscribed to SLING and dropped Frontier TV and Phone. Saving $200 a month. Never watched premier movie channels anyway but they are still available on roku or Sling.

You no longer needed a smart tv to get the features and then some. Perfect? Nah but this midpriced alternative to some of the other players works well. My first Roku was the 4, the streaming stick + was a space saving option with 4K UHD and HDR.i have one in my bedroom and living room (keeping my fire stick 4k company) If you are looking to enter the streaming market, this is a good start.

I'm carrying it back-n-forth between the living room and master bedroom every night. Great variety of channels and Hulu works again on this model. Watching Apple TV on an Android is a big plus. I will be buying a second unit this month.

It has more programs and seems to interface better with our Wi-Fi. They are both good accessories but given the choice I would pick the Roku because it just simply has more choices of programs and features.
