haven't cut cable though!

I found that Roku was a preferred way to stream acorn on a non smart HDTV. It was easy to install the Roku streaming stick and pair the controller to the TV. Directions were clear and Roku was easily installed and my wife is very happy with it

Works smoothly & Great feeling remote

I tried the Xfinity Beta App and I seem to be able to use the my Xfinity services just as I would on my X1 cable box. The price of this is surprisingly low as well for the level of functionality that it provides.

I think the installation directions were poor unless it was me. I had to contact the Geek Squad twice and my local cabel company to get assistance. At any rate, it is doing the job I got it for, to get rid of my cable box. I still have a lot to learn about it and the Roku help line is not functioning. I would recomend it

Great for outdoor movies!

I use it for my projector when I want to watch movies outside. The Roku product is very user friendly. I continue to buy Roku products for my personal use and as gifts. I have owned other competitor models and Roku has the best user experience.

Not enough free or good movies or tv to watch

Ditch cable

We did have about a month overlap with cable and the moment we hooked up the Roku we never turned on the cable till it was disconnected. There are so many channels you never knew existed and they are FREE! So worth it!
