good streamer in 4K UHD with HDR

Bought this as an upgrade for an aging Roku and the bluetooth remote is nice (doesn't need to be pointed at the Roku, unlike the models with IR remotes). You'll need a fast wifi router with a strong signal if you want to stream 4k content. The guided setup forces you to register a payment method, but there's more than enough free channels (ad supported).

I travel to Mexico once a year and take several other vacations. I bring this Roku to use the screen mirroring from my phone. When i dont have wi fi available I am not throttled on my internal phone internet use by Verizon.

I give 4 stars because of the remote simplicity, it needs more functionality, for example you have to go channel by channel, a page option will be very good. The sound control is on the right side and a right handed can hit "mute" easily. I own better remotes from streaming, but they don't pay me for advertisement. Good Luck!!!

It's not compatible. Took multiple tries to synch with the TV and set-top box before performs (minimally). Now it does what the TV and set-top remote already did. Will return once I hear how to accomplish that under the current constraints.

Was very pleased the way it worked on my tv. When I saw Best Buy had them on sale the day after Black Friday, I went and bought two more for the rest of my tv's. Of course, they matched the price on the first one I purchased. Gotta love Best Buy!!!!!

You can watch a marathon of back to back shows. Can move from one TV to another as long as you have a HDMI on it. My husband set up, but it is easy to use. Lots of options to add on, like Sling, Netflix, etc. We have an antenna, which helps for local channels.
