A nice compact streaming stick. I wish it had an option for wired connection in addition to Wifi.

I had to purchase a new Roku because I dropped my old one on the floor one too many times during a recent move. I was excited to see this new version had all the features of the more expensive one for less. It was a breeze to install, but having the remote rely on your Wi-Fi connection instead of the sensor on the front of the old box can be problematic if you don’t have a continuously strong Wi-Fi connection. Overall, I am very happy with the function and value of this new model.

We were unable to watch some of our favorite college teams play basketball until we purchased our Roku. It is unfortunate that ESPN is now requiring a subscription for some program, but at least roku gives the opportunity to view games otherwise unwatchable. Roku is not hard to use.

Great product. Quick set up. Would be 4-5 stars if not for the poor battery life of the remote. It’s horrible. I use remote for two days accessing 2-3 shows. Next time I go to use it the batteries are dead. Replace batteries. Watch 2 shows. Go to watch something else 3 days later. Batteries dead again. Spending a fortune on batteries.

One of best streaming devices on the market, fast step up, the quality of product is grat

Our old Xbox broke down ( at this point was mostly just used for streaming videos and a DVD player). Upon going to Best Buy the sales rep recommended roku for our streaming services vs another bulky DVD player. We have this in our bedroom and it’s perfect for our needs.

Couldn’t be easier to stream. Works great. Wish there was a way to turn it off when not in use.

Using it to allow my children to watch their shows.

Had an old Roku (probably 2013-14) that was not compatible with Hulu live. Upgraded to this and I’m very pleased. The only downside to me is that if your tv’s USB port isn’t powerful enough to power the stick you have the plug it into the wall but that’s not the products fault.

After 6 years of Apple TV, I decided to purchase this. Product is pretty much the same but roku is much cheaper.

Few Problems’s the beginning that turned out to be a dead battery in one box that came with the Roku stick

I previously had the other popular streaming stick, and I had a lot of issues with it. I'm certainly happier with my Roku, and will stick with it in the future. The only issue I've had was having to re-pair the remote after 4 days without power.

Purchased to put on additional TV that would be impacted by cable going to 100% digital. Nice remote and good easy to use menus

Easy to install and use. Would be a 5ster if it had an integrated remote controlled selector switch.

My daughter bought this for her smart TV in her room as the smart apps were spotty in her bedroom in the back of the house because of wi-fi issues, I was so impressed, I'm getting one for myself so it's easier to stream HBO max which my smart TV doesn't have.

When I purchase this Roku I didn't realize it was all in one I was just updating my old one and did not even realize that I bought one that can control the TV sound does everything so I only have to have one remote operate my TV

Useful for getting another xfinity station in the home without paying Comcast for a box

We've had no issues with the Roku stick so far, and the ability to do more in the mobile app adds value. I took away one star because I wish there was a way to re-program the four buttons at the bottom of the remote. We don't have most of those streaming services and so it would have been nice to use those buttons for something else. I read online that those are vendor-paid additions, so I guess there's not much Roku can do there.

I have Charter Spectrum and a non-Samsung tv so I bought the Roku Stick rather than renting a box from the cable company. I am sure it does more than what I use it for but for me it is my attempt at getting back at a cable company for their gouging. By the way, it works great.
