But, I’m finding Roku is a nice substitute. I wish there was way to page through the menu instead of scrolling one by one. It’s been a learning experience and I’m finally getting used to it. I wish there was a YouTubeTV button instead of a Sling TV button (since I subscribed to YouTubeTV). All in all, I’m happy I switched.

Didn't work with my old Vizio

I had to return it. I guess my TV was just too old. Make sure you verify with the manufacturer before purchasing

I can't say its easy to install, we got the Geek Squad to do for us and it looked complicated to me but the tech did it with little trouble. Someone with good tech skills could probably manage it.

We set it up on a regular non-Roku TV in our garage to feed from a Roku TV inside the house and it works great. Easy set-up and fast response. Highly recommend. Purchased when it was on sale so the price was another plus.

It takes some getting use to that channel changes are more difficult and slower, but all of the streaming world old and new is available.

My Sony tv is 12 years old and by having this stick attached, it’s a new tv! And the best part is the Spectrum app is available on it now so therefore I don’t have to pay for equipment anymore!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.You wont believe this but here it goes....I order online, get the package delivered a week or two later, the nylon bubble bag that the product is enclosed in is sealed and in tact upon delivery. I open the nylon bad and pull out the "Roku box". I notice the clear round sticky seal that closes the box ( tamper proof seal ) was sliced open. I show that to my wife and say, this is going to be a problem. I open the box and pull out the contents. Everything seems to be in tact EXCEPT, there is NO Roku stick in the box. That's right, someone in the picking/packing dept. of the warehouse in which the item was shipped from stole the Roku stick from the box. Nice job...WAIT, it gets better....while I'm on the phone explaining this to cust. service, I open up the battery compartment on the remote control, I find one of the battery terminals is RUSTY, yes...rusty. That means I got a used remote control from the thief that stole the Roku stick. He/she was being very generous with this stunt. Inside of the battery compartment was dusty and dirty, so I know it was used. WOW, it could only happen to me. There will be some bad karma for the thief.

It is a little slow accessing the Spectrum app, and lacks a little of the functionality. I bought the voice activated model, but probably could have gotten by without it

Content is different from cable, it is on demand, but tons of contents on the web. I used to watch Netflix and Prime only but now explored many other FREE options with this Roku. Am getting another one for my other TV. Great product!
