Good Value for streaming

Would recommend this product. I haven't had a chance to utilize the voice remote component but more so from my slow embrace of some technical features.

Works good and....controls the volume on the TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently purchased this as a second Roku device for a television upstairs, as I have recently "cut the cord" with Direct TV, now happily connected to YouTube TV. They recently released the compatibility with Roku which makes streaming much easier with a remote Control, than using a Google Chromecast off of a phone or tablet to your TV. Absolutely love the service and the addition of the new Roku streaming stick, with Wi-Fi...which allows the experience in other parts of the house.

Roku installation

I was able to watch TV in just a few minutes. It uses the USB to power the device, so it's completely hidden on the back of the TV without a cord needing to be plugged in.

Don't have a smartTV, this is a simple solution. Even if you have a smartTV, this is still a good buy as Roku has some apps to help you save money! Especially if you are an XFinity subscriber!

Easy Setup, Good Content

I only got it so I could use the Xfinity Stream App on any TV as the Amazon FireStick does not have the app (yet). I am not sure I am a fan of the screen layout but I have been using the Firestick for a few years now so it probably is just what I am used to using.

I have an Apple TV (and love it) but needed a second streaming devise. I didn’t feel like spending a ton of money and found this Roku one. There’s an Apple TV app so I can stream all my Apple content for a fraction of the price!

Great device for small tv

Also the Sling 30 day trial that accompanied the Roku purchase was not honored by Sling. Sling charged me for one month even though it was a free trial. Our credit card company absorbed the cost because we are good customers. Sling has no honor. I purchased several Roku devices with a 30 day trail for each device, but in the end none of those 30 day trials were honored by Sling.

I only pay now for internet service which is a fraction of the cost I had for years. It is an excellent product with some apps I have never heard of before that have become very informative and useful. Love my Roku,

easy to set up and use

I have to reboot my router to start over. It's not Roku's fault that Spectrum forces me to use the Stick because I am too cheap to rent another cable box...I just wish they'd speed up the service out here in the sticks.

I wish I would of boughten one a long time ago. No monthly fees,,, just hook it up and get FREE TV!!!! I really recommend it for anyone who wants to save $ monthly and for anyone who wants to expand their TV capacities.

Works Great with iPad

I only use it to stream YouTube and Airplay from my iPad. Works well but stops if you move to another app if you have Airplay running. Setup is a little lengthy to make a Roku account but will work fine once it's done.
