I got a Roku when I cut the cord and got rid of cable. With Hulu LiveTV, the Roku works as a strong substitute. However, there are the to-be-expected issues with wifi. Just about my only gripe with the Roku is that the remote just seems to stop working every now and then. I haven't reached out to Roku because frankly, it's not a big enough issue for me to deal with customer service.

Great streaming stick for a bedroom. Easy to use and very responsive. Quick and easy setup.

Very happy with this Roku. We used to be Chromecast fans, but after buying a Roku tv we made the switch. Then we had to buy a Roku device for our "dumb tv" to carry the experience into our bedroom. My only complaint is that it never truly turns off. It is always running the screensaver even when you have turned off the power with the remote; tv is off, but Roku is still on.

Confusing to set up, but once you get it to work, it's great.

I purchased this product for the television in my bedroom. I did have a cable box in there, but did not use it often. I was paying monthly for a cable box, so decided to try the Roku. It works well for my needs.

I picked this up so I would be able to stream my movies and tv shows on my tv. It’s less of a hassle like this. But I really picked it up for that Apple TV app that’s included the Roku device especially at this price compared to buying an Apple TV

I've tried almost all of these streaming players and for the price, I think ROKU is pretty darn good. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need a good wifi connection if you want to avoid buffering in the middle of watching.

Works well and this model, with the tv controls is much more convenient than the less expensive version. Downside is the narrowing access Roku is providing through inability to reach agreements with some media providers.

Great, well woth the money for an upgrade, especially with the voice controlled search- sure beats typing! Only problem is that I can't get Apple TV + on it... the channel is available, but it won't stream through the Roku, even though it does thru my Apple TV device. Don't know whose fault it is, but buyer beware!

We have Xfinity cable and internet and bought two Roku devices to access Xfinity Beta via WiFi instead of paying for additional set top devices on our deck and kitchen. Roku works great for this. Only issue we’ve found is the placement of the volume and mute controls on the side the Roku remote. Very easy to mute your tv or change volume unintentionally. Otherwise Roku works great.

A good accessory to Roku for traveling. The price is very reasonable.

BB Agent was extremely helpful and walked me thru the process to allow to dump Comcast and switch over to Roku and broadcast channels......he was great and very attentive to this non-techie 74 year old.

Fast loading, fast wifi connection. You can use your phone to control it. But the shape is hard to plug into HDMI port of my TV. Better if they add a short cable for HDMI connector. Also, need USB port to provide power. You can either use TV USB port or use the adaptor. Really hope they can get enough power from HDMI port. Overall, works, lots of content. Fast. Easy to setup.

The only thing that bugs me is I order online and it tells me to come get it but there is no "desk" you can pick it up. You have to wait in the checkout line for everyone else so what is the purpose of ordering online?

Much better than the Fire Stick. Actually works and provides me with easy access to all my programming. Multiple fire sticks would break over time. This is my second Roku streaming stick and they work great and last.

Good streaming media player. Some issues with short battery life and remote issues.

This is much faster than my old Roku stick. Can't beat it for the price.

Very nice product. The voice command on the remote is a nice feature.
